well perhaps i didnt explain perfectly. i meant like when an RE is just shown with little to no information revealed on it, then really you cant talk about much besides how it looks so far. such is the case with RE4. sure, we could talk forever about wut we'd like to see in the game, but right now most people will just be talking about how it looks (moving camera? pre-rendered backgrounds? was the movie all in real time? was it actual gameplay screens?).

you could talk about control, but how it will control is really anyone's guess, since it does mainly depend on whether or not the backgrounds are pre-rendered.

you could talk about gameplay, perhaps it'll have more of a DMC-esque type of fighting where as you can move around easier while fighting and possibly lock onto multiple targets, or have a better use of melee weapons.

character comebacks, or any other story aspects are of course still a mystery.

the RE4 movie doesnt leave that much to talk about in terms of gameplay or story. ok, so Leon is back, and possibly hes infected and this may play a role with the gameplay, but right now, that's anybody's guess.

not too many people are creative and like to talk a lot about stuff they arent sure on. i could talk for hours on wut i think about that 2 minute RE4 video, but most people will watch it and say "meh, graphics look good".

so, yeah....

I don't know who said it in the beginning of this thread, but DivX has nothing to do with better real-time graphics. Only with prerenderd ones. 45% of the movie...

Oh give me a break. I don't know why, but if someone sent you a screen before they said anything about RE4, you'd talk about the graphics first and not about Sherry's little story and whatever happened to her. We know nothing about the freaking game except it stars Leon and 'it takes place in the heart of umbrella.'

In my opinion, you're just complaining and being annoying like usual ;)

Just because everybody else thinks about the graphics first, doesn't mean I do too... I'm serious, I wasn't like "OOO OMG LOOK AT THE GRAPHICS OOO" and the fact that Leon is back is far more neato than good graphics, IMO...

This is how my impressions of the movie went:

*sees that camera moves* Cool it's 3D with a moving camera

*Sees that it says something about Leon* Awesome, Leon's back!

and I'm not kidding... besides, when I first saw the movie I didn't have it all downloaded and the movie stopped playing while Leon's name was on the screen :p

I hate how it seemed like with the remake a lot of people were like OOO OMG LOOK AT THE GRAPHICS I HAVE GOT TO GET THIS GAME then it comes out and not many people talk about it, and the ones that do say they're a bit dissapointed in it, etc... Then look at RE0... graphics this graphics that, now it's out and nobody's talking about it much...

But speaking of RE0, I just rented it and so far I think it's really good and the intro is neat seeing the Bravo team and I like how you switch between characters... It's neat and groovy... And using the normal RE type controls on the NGC controller isn't as bad as I remembered it being with the remake (although it's still not as good as control type C :p )...

So there... I'm not complaining there, am I?... Well except that the controls still aren't as good as Type C in the remake, but I also added that they weren't as bad as I thought it'd be... so NYEH TO YOU! :sneaky:

PN 03 looks really sweet, viewtiful Joe looks sweet, and RE4 looks great, also, Killer 7 looks really sweet!

These will be the games that will push the 'Cube and show what it can really do. meh, thats just my comment/opinion.
