i doubt theres a single person in the world that cares about all consoles equally.

and if someone says they are. its my personally oppinion that they're full of crap. :D

Anywho. so that has grown tiresum to you. and as i said going into every thread and seeing the same time of argument has grown tiresome to me.

Obviously i didnt say any names of anyone personally. and i didnt read all the posts cuz well. the argument aint worth reading. lol

i just wish there wouldnt be such arguments. if someone doesnt like xbox. doesnt mean theyre a fanperson (thats my new word, it shall one day replace fanboy untill it too gets old :D ) if someone doesnt like GameCube. it also does not mean they're a fanperson.

The only fanpersons are the ones who dont like PS2.......... :hmm: ok ok, j/k, they're not either i suppose. :D

I didnt read all the posts. sooooooo dont know if i said anything that counters something you said. (not changing my oppinion) But i assure you. nothing i said was directed at you. was meaning more to get them OFF your back. :p

From what I have read, there will be a totally new engine, built ground up for the Xbox. That and the fact that the game will be built ground up for the Xbox, the game should look quite a lot better than the first.

It should no doubt be as good as the first in temrs of gameplay, but for it to be 'really' better than the first, it should offer some new gameplay elements. Only time will tell.

Wellll that depends. Halo is a damn good game. Halo 2 will be better. for xbox.

However, halo for PC vs Halo 2 for Xbox is a differnt story.

Halo 2 will most likely be better then Halo on PC in first person mode. But IMO, it doesnt stand much a chance against the PC version in Online mode.

off the bat i think thier online modes will be much in the same. (differnt maps prolly tho) cuz it will be first online halo for both PC and Xbox.

Mods tho is where the PC is going to lift off. yes i think xbox will have mods of its own. However the mod Community for the PC will be soooooo much larger. and i think they'll be able to do a little more. and faster with it.

plus the part that PC uses keyboard and mouse...... hmmm. Can xbox do that for halo 2 ?

I am sure they can do that, but I really don't think they will. Didn't Bill Gates say a while back that he didn't want keyboards and mouses for the Xbox??

I thought that a keyboard and mouse were announced for the Xbox recently?

It was posted on GT is another thread, forget which one, that Interact (?) will be making a keyboard and mouse for the XBox. Whether or not MS has developers do anything with it is another matter... Typing of the Dead anyone?:D

Halo 2 will at least be the same as Halo or better in my opinion. I don't think bungie is as rushed this time as they were to get Halo out, so maybe Halo 2 will be even better. And as Shadow Link said the graphics engine is being completely redone. Which means there will be quite an improvement as far as graphics go, definitely a noticeable one.

Also about keyboards for the Xbox... Interact is making a keyboard for the Xbox which will be released around November. Although no games have been announced to support it to my knowledge, other than for entering Game Shark codes. Whether or not other third party companys make a keyboard, it is highly likely. But for Microsoft to make a keyboard and mouse for the Xbox it still seems a little fuzzy.

A double post, but for a good cause. Here is IGN's description of the Halo 2 trailer shown at the X02 event:

Sure, we knew Master Chief was going to kick some butt in Halo 2, but the surprise was in finding out just where this butt-kicking would take place. Staring out the ship's massive window, Master Chief watches the Earth being ravaged. As Earth and its moon come into view, massive nuclear-scale explosions can be seen erupting on the planet's surface. It's clear Earth is under siege. Master Chief heads to the flight deck, but there are no ships in sight for him to enter. Instead he braces himself behind a wall and opens the docking bay. After a moment's pause he jumps out of the ship and freefalls. He quickly descends onto a Covenant ship, one of several hovering over the planet.

Again the lighting seems the most dominant improvement. The visuals are crisp and of FMV-quality, but again it is all in-game footage. Earth is beautiful from afar, even as it is ripped apart by invaders and the Covenant ship Master Chief descends on is almost luminescent.

Sounds pretty good, eh?
