Okay, I am going to be working on randomizing it now.

Just letting folks know, still open to suggestions while work on it, and changed up the order just so can be completely fair and random.

Okay, all 64 slots have been filled. Using a combination of a random number generator (which was not fun after a while) and picking 1,2,3, etc.

I also took a few picks from Twitter while I was doing it, just to get some of those guys interested... Hopefully.

And I also included Super Mario as my personal pick because I couldn't let him be left out.

I think shall begin on Monday.
I'm thinking of doing 4 a day for 8 days, to get through the first round quickly, anyone have issues with that?

Having a 'personal pick' seems a little unfair as A) Nobody picked him, and B) After randomizing all of our picks, you hand-select one of the best-known characters in all of video games.

It is now my mission to make sure Super Mario burns in a fiery, fiery death.

well he did go through the trouble of getting it set up. i see no problem with a personal pick

When I say personal pick, I don't mean chosen to win, I meant a pick to be included. I understand, I run it, but is it so wrong to also want to be able to pick people to show up?

I mean if you folks really strongly disagree, I will remove him! :(

No, wanting your favorite character to be in is fine, but its not fair to everyone else if they didnt get their favorite in. Why didnt you just make your own small list like everyone else and put Mario in front, then he would have been chosen and this argument would have never happened.

Okay, not really, but this will feature characters from all walks of life: movies, comics, TV, books, newspapers, the funnies, video games, mascots. Any and everything is up for grabs.

And because this is a GT thing, you are all responsible for picking the characters. Just throw out some names (and if you want to be helpful, medium of choice and maybe a picture or two) of some characters.

We'll randomly setup the brackets and hope for the best.

The cap is 64 characters. Don't be afraid to go over, we'll trim it down as fairly as possible.

And all submissions due by Sunday March 28th, at midnight EST. :D

technically this isnt the same war as urs tho typhoid. its an evolution of it which means there can still be differences. i dont rele see wat the big deal is

I'd say you can have your Mario pick but only if you let Snake automatically move on to the final round.
