I made a thread along those lines at Nintendose when I first joined and was quickly ridiculed and chastised.

What can I say? I was a fresh-faced, 15 year-old with less than a dollar to my name and a dream in my pocket.

I've been to some meetings of a Dutch LotR forum and later 1 of the Dutch members of my (European) guild. The guild leader was from the UK and he even considered coming, if more would. But it was just 6 Dutchies.

Meeting online people is weird, but fun.

I didn't find it weird.... much.
I mean Adam was a nice enough host and spent most of my time with him.
Only issue was maybe first night when was scouting them all out, they thought it was a little weird but had to get a read on them.

Poor poor guy.

I don't know.
Vancouver would be a random place to hold a convention.
I mean I guess it has the highest density of GT members.
But it is one of the.. hmm... I say some place neutral, and fun.

But would be interesting a GT Con as it were.
