Re: Favorite Soda Type?
Dr. Pepper is the best pop ever.
So I guess cola is my favorite. |
Re: Favorite Soda Type?
Can Dr. Pepper be called a cola? It tastes nothing like Coca-Cola or Pepsi Cola (which taste somewhat similar to each other), or any of the other, cheaper colas...
I always kind of thought DP was its own thing... /me shrugs and walks away |

There's Dr. Pepper, Mr. Pibb, Dr. Bob (Giant Food brand, they also have 'Spin Cola)... And I'm pretty sure Safeway has some Dr. or Mr. Soda as well... And it is also my favorite Soda :> |
Re: Favorite Soda Type?
I haven't had soda in like a month and a half, and I don't plan to for as long as I can. But hell, I was a Dr. Pepper fan before I quit. Silly 8-can a day addiction.

Re: Favorite Soda Type?
Dr. Pepper was a prized possession in Iraq. Very hard to find.
as for Mt. Dew, found the ingredients: Contains: Carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup and/or sugar, concentrated orange juice and other natural flavors, citric acid, sodium benzoate (preserves freshness), caffeine, sodium citrate, gum arabic, erythorbic acid (preserves freshness), calcium disodium EDTA (to protect flavor) and brominated vegetable oil, yellow 5. |
Re: Favorite Soda Type?

So Pepsi Lemon is just stronger? Pepsi Lime is really lemon-lime? Vanilla Coke is like a creamsicle? :D |
Re: Favorite Soda Type?
Well, its Sprite for me.. and in the off chance that its not served (Like my friggin school that has Pepsi-products) I go with Sierra Mist.
But when push comes to shove, I much prefer me some fruit punch. And Capri Suns come in real handy when you are lazy in school. Pop a straw in and your good to go. Not to mention 10 in abox for like a 1.50 |

Not sure on the 3rd. Edit: From Wikipedia In 1985, Coca-Cola, amid much publicity, attempted to change the formula of the drink. Some authorities believe that New Coke, as the reformulated drink was called, was invented specifically to respond to its commercial competitor, Pepsi. Double-blind taste tests indicated that most consumers preferred the taste of Pepsi (which has more lemon oil, less orange oil, and uses vanillin rather than vanilla) to Coke. New Coke was reformulated in a way that emulated Pepsi. Follow-up taste tests revealed that most consumers preferred the taste of New Coke to both Coke and Pepsi. The reformulation was led by the then-CEO of the company, Roberto Goizueta, and the President Don Keough. Double edit: On dr pepper, this is cool, also from wiki In the United States, Dr Pepper/Seven Up, Inc. does not have a complete network of bottlers and distributors, so it is sometimes bottled under contract by Coca-Cola or Pepsi bottlers. In about 30% of the country, the product is distributed by Pepsi bottlers, in about 30% of the country, by Coca-Cola bottlers and in the remainder it is distributed by bottlers that are not affiliated with either of those companies. In Canada, Cadbury-Schweppes has licensed distribution rights to PepsiCo. In Germany, Mexico, France, Sweden, The Netherlands, Slovakia, Finland, Austria, The Czech Republic, Belgium, and Norway, Cadbury-Schweppes owns the trademark and distributes the product. In all of the other countries of the world, The Coca-Cola Company purchased the trademark from Cadbury-Schweppes and distributes the product. This mixed worldwide ownership of the trademark is due to anti-trust regulations which prevented Coca-Cola from purchasing the rights everywhere. |
