Re: Zelda Trailer

Just because it is a sequel to TWW doesn't mean it is the same Link and Zelda or that the land is just being discovered or converted in Hyrule. It could be a squel in the sense that TWW was a sequel to OoT. It could simply just have a few references back to the original Zelda GCN.

I'm personally hoping the world is really as large and diverse as the moives and screens make it seem. I want to get the feeling that I'm really far away from my home when I'm beating the requisite forest/fire/water temples, not just a quick five minute trot away on a horse.

Those ARE great graphics. Almost like RE4 or MGS3 quality. And they've got most of 2005 to work on it, so I expect the final product to be great. ^___^

Man, I'm happy. ^___^

Ah yes, the build looks pretty good so far... I really hope it will be ready to compete with the XB2. :D

Looks pretty sweet.

I never did finish WW. I got too bored sailing around.

but yeah, I'll probably end up buying this.

Yes! Just watched it, and it got me pumped as all get-out. Can't wait to be playing this game, whenever that may be.

Re: Zelda Trailer

Well IMO some parts of the game are animated quite well, like when Link was going to dive in the water, you can see him open his mouth can take in air.......... and the facial expression when the spider was chasing him was nice, however the side stepping animation needs some work.

It also looks like the combat has improved a bit......Link can now downward stab an enemy like in SC2 and he can also use his shield to hit an enemy or atleast push em back
( That can be seen when the trailer hits 1:08 or 1:10 when he's fighting the strafos (sp), hey maybe he was being taught that move when he was fighting with the Rock guy )

Also, Link can ride boars, I wonder if he can hit riders off of their boars and then ride them? ;) Or maybe he can jump on the boars with the riders still on them and then throw them off and take control. ;):D

I do admit it's taking me a while to get adjusted to the look and the over all feel of the game but it looks like it's gonna be great. :D
I wonder what's new gameplay wise in terms of puzzles and stuff. :D

O and if that music is in game music then I'll be very happy.

Fingers, the music is from Conan the Barbarian. I think they can only use it for trailers and not ingame. :(

Notice the beautiful fish in the water. :D

No! It is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (note the lack of "the" in front of Ocarina). Thus, OoT, not TOoT.

And for some other people...

It is The Wind Waker. So... It would be TWW, not WW...

What? *sigh* and I really like that music. Maybe Nintendo will purchase the Conan soundtrack. (j/k) ;)
