Re: Could you...
It's funny. I didn't make it into this thread, or know what it was about, until today. And yet, I was thinking about this same thing the other day. Perhaps even the day that this was posted. Trying to decide what makes me heterosexual. Isn't it funny how you can go days, months, even years without something coming up - and then all of the sudden it gets mentioned five times in one day in completely unrelated places? Like the universe was just set up so that it was way more likely for a subject to come up on that day? Bizarre. I wish there was a word for that. I dub it: Extraubiquial (waits for Latin gurus ((Xantar)) to throw stones).
At any rate, back to the matter at hand: sexuality. The conclusion I reached (and much more quickly than I had anticipated) was that I could get very close to a guy. Be extremely emotionally close to them and perhaps even to say the big three words. However, without physical attraction I could never have any relationship with them more than a friend. And I am simply not attracted to men at all. The physical attraction isn't there, and I have no need to contemplate it further. |
Re: Could you...
Nope, I don't think I could ever fall in love with a woman.
Sexual attraction is a major part of being in love. I don't believe you can be in love with somebody you are not sexually attracted to because :- 1. It is unfair on the other person 2. Sex is important for a loving relationship. I'm no sex doctor, but there is a feeling of closeness being with that somebody special. 3. I've tried to fall in love with a few girls myself, and it just didn't happen as there was no chemistry. Don't think I could go with a girl..........plus I'm already in love with somebody atm ;) |

I'm not in shock about the first part, it's the last part that's shocking... I've met one gay guy in my lifetime who played video games... I thought they didn't exist. LOL! I feel that as long as your sexuality (gay or straight) doesn't get in the way of video games, the world will be ok. |
