A flustered Simpson made some exaggerated hopping dance moves, then walked off the stage.
I found that rather humourous. :)

So, I watched SNL tonight.

I'm just assuming it's the most recent. Eminem performed.

And, he was lip synching.

I'm positive of it. I was watching and he made a mistake. He brought the microphone down, away from his face and he missed the last word.

I'm not the only one who saw it. So ya, eminem was lipsynching his song as well. If you can somehow watch this night's SNL you'll see for yourself.

On this subject of using enhancements:

While i do not oppose musical enhancement to make the sound fuller (for the band), because they are playing there's just extra instruments thrown in. The vocalist should at least be singing a part of the lyrics. I could understand using tape to produce another part of the lyrics (like when the singer does multiple parts recorded over eacheother in the studio and could not possibly duplicate the sound live). However, it is rediculous for a performer to not even be doing any of the singing.

I promise never to lip sync once I start singing for TV shows. They should be ashamed. No talents...

Did anybody else think that they would edit the lip sync out in the reruns? I thought they would as well, but they didn't.

If you aren't going to sing, you might want to practice your lip syncing a little more.

Someone said that they lip sync because it is difficult to sing and dance at the same time. But Lohan wasn't doing much dancing...

It didn't even look like she knew the words to her own song. And I agree, that "dancing" was weak. I could have done that.

She put the microphone down... but the song kept going I think.

And her dancing was great, especially the booty shakin.

*rolls eyes* ... that wasn't dancing, trust me

Anyway, it happened at the end of a bit of music (no singing). She was late coming back in. She turned her head right after she did it.

Re: Tonight's SNL

Artists like Michael and Janet Jackson and Madonna have been lipsynching for years, but as was mentioned, they have a much more elaborate stage show and dance routines.

I think today's "artists" lipsynche because they can't match their studio voice quality in a live program. Producers can make almost anyone sound great in the studio now.

And to those that think thats great dancing, well, you've obviously never had one in your lap. Now THATS some good dancin'!
