Damnit, have none of you guys bought Pikmin 2? I'm ashamed; it's been released for a while yet I'm the only one to give the Pikmin 2 thread some action.

Go rent it or buy it!

Personally, I think this is the coolest game I've played in a while... I'll be getting it! So much fun and so simple, just like Nintendo said. Who else is getting this game? I definately am!

Told you so.

Still think all you idiots should buy the DK/DK2 bundle from Japan, get yourself a second drum set, and more importantly, crazy Japanese music. Ever hear Japanese singing a song to Yankee Doodle? Very funny.

I played Konga today at Circuit city. Very fun. Although I wonder how much extra congo conrollers will cost...it might actually be worth it.

Anyways, If its good enough for Christina Milian, its good enough for me...

Yeah, and besides. What grown man can help himself from playing with a couple of nice of fleshy bongo's?

Not I, not I. :)

Re: Donkey Konga

I dont like the fact that when you rent it, you have to hit bongos that other peoples hands have been on...like Moogles mom. ;)

I might play it if someone else rents it, like Dylflon or Dyne or something, but whenever i play a rhythm game like DDR with Dylflon, his ass always tends to migrate towards my face, and its not a pleasing sight to see.

Well you go to school each day, and you walk on the ground that others walk upon, what's the difference?

I'm buying mine next Friday (pay day :-p) and then my co-workers and I are having a party.

If you just want to know if we've played the full version, then yes. It's a blast, but honestly what else did you want to know? I can hardly wait to play it with other people.

got mine today, my god, what an absolutely fantastic game... songs are much better than DDR and it is so freaking addicting, you guys must buy this game right now... what a fabulous amazing game.

I want to get the game...

But 40 bucks a pop for additional kongas is a bit much, no?

Maybe a bit. But I'm not that worried about it. They've gotta make up for the fact that they're giving a game and a bongo for $50 somewhere I suppose.

I wanna try this game out. Maybe this one chick I know will get it. It looks SOOO fun! :D Any chance of being an Arcade version of this game? That would rock.

So who else thinks Rock Lobster is the greatest song on there? There are so many good songs - but I definitely like Rock Lobster the most.

When I first saw it though I thought it was Lobster Magnet. I was so freaking excited and confused...

:Edit:

See Lobster Magnet: http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/lobster.php

Re: Donkey Konga

Well, I hate to bring this thread back from the dead, but heck I just purchased the game today thanks to TRU buy 2 get 1 free, it's so much easier buying kongas when you get the game at a discounted price.

Anyhow, all I can say is my hands are sore, my leg hurts, and well I think I'm completely addicted. And so are my friends. I need to find money to invest into 3 other kongas, but that will come in due time.

And just for the record, I think the PokeMon song is the best, some sick reason, I don't know why.

I really do hope they release a disc with more songs.. The Metroid Theme, tons from Smash Bros, other songs.. o man I can't wait...

O I know it's a great game, and it seems Donkey Konga 2 is due early next year. I hope it's an expansion pak, and not a full priced standalone game.

I played it some weeks ago in a store with my girlfriend. Totally rad! :D
But I can imagine you need at least 2 bongos to fully enjoy it...

Not really. Me and the slave are having a blast right now by sharing the one bongo. I take one side, and she takes the other and we both do the claps. Makes for fun times.

Also, the game can be played with the standard gamecube controller although I can't see why you would want to a thing like that.
