I'm keeping my eyes peeled so that I can rent Army of Darkness. Oh, I've heard so much about it.

Thats great! Kingdom Hearts is one of the best games Ive ever played. You'll love the ending when you beat it. Heres a tip: Beat the Hades Cup, seal every world, and find every dalmation.

Finding all the dalmations is more than worth it. You get Aeroaga, which aside from Curaga is the best spell in the game, and you get a complete gummi collection. I built a mech/gundam gummi ship.

But that is not the main reason to do all these things. If you do, you will earn a sneak peak at KH2, and believe me, its so cool, its worth it.

Update: I decided to put FFX back in, Im playing Blitzball!

Kingdom Hearts in my opinion is the best game on PS2. FFX comes in second. I got everything in that game and maxed out my characters. What I loved about that game was that it was so damn fun. Can't wait for Kingdom Hearts II.

I think I'm alone in the opinion that FFX wasn't great. I think it pales in comparison to most of the other FFs. Actually I think it's probably the worst of them. Its badness was only hidden by flashy graphics and voice acting, which I think sucked! It was an okay game and all, but think about the quality of 6, 7, and 8. Think about six, I just hated Kefka by the end of the game. I really hated Kefka, in fact I still hate him. I don't know maybe I'm making no sense...

No, many people do agree with you. You're not alone on this... Probably the only reason I liked FFX was because I really, really enjoy playing RPG's. I enjoy playing almost every RPG out there...

But I did like FFX, in fact, I loved it. But many people I know said it was the worst FF game they have played but overall, it was an "ok" game. My favorite RPG ever created is Final Fantasy 7 along with Chrono Trigger... Just letting you know. And welcome to the boards. :banana:

Actually, I agree with you. And I know a few others who also don't think FFX is all that great. It was good, I can admit that, but I think RPGs like Suikoden III, Xenosaga, Dark Cloud 2 are better. The only thing I really like about FFX was the sphere grid, which I thought was innovative. However, the story is kind of dull, I didn't really enjoy that much.

I'm not sure if it'd be the worst FF, seeing as I havent played all of them yet. But probably the most disappointing.

Final Fantasy 8 is like middle age... The series hit its peek there, and then began falling. Oh, and I just know that there will be a Final Fantasy 16 *shudders*... only four away.

Hey! VIII was awesome! Most people just seem to hate it because Cloud and Sephiroth were gone. :rolleyes: My favorite has to be IX though. I had the most fun playing that. X was okay... Not too crazy about the characters and battle system kind of annoyed me. VII was "okay". I think it's seriously over rated, but a very good RPG with some good characters, but story was.. eh for me.. lol. Perhaps I'm too picky? :unsure

I love FF8. I don't know why, I just do. It was just great. But my favorite FF of all time is 6 followed by Tactics, then probably 7, and then 8, and then 9. Lol. Anyway, those are the ones I consider great. I only consider 9 great because it sorta took me back to a job class thing. I love Job classes. And the story was pretty good.

Ive only played four FF games (not counting KH) FFVII, FFVIII, FFX, and Tactics. Out of these, tactics is my favorite game by far. The story was so interesting and inrigueing, whats not to like?

The only reason Im still playing FFX is blitzball. Actually, I like it so much, I havent actually gotten pass Luca. I just keep fighting battles and getting money and then drafting my favorite players over and over. Im probably very stronge for this stage in the game because of all the battles I fight for money.

P.S.: Xenosaga still hasnt arrived! Oh well, Im enjoying Mega Man Transmission for my GCN.

Great ratings or not, they are slightly disimproving. I'm saying X would be the equivelant to VI. I'm not saying that the games are anywhere near bad, just that they are getting "worse", and to whatever small degree.

Of course it's not realistic for me to say that Final Fantasy will gradually get worse, and worse until the games are only "meh" or perhaps even "The series actually got that high? Who cares". There's always the chance that FFXIV or something will be a great game, and even better than 6-8. Just a general trend that has been noticed... Like stock markets.

Before that is all the confusing parts... but still awesome... After that one thing happens, so many awesome things happen in the game.

PS: My Ramza was stronger than my Orlando.

Hmm My Cid was about equal to Ramza I think. But Cid could do all that sword technique stuff, so he was way stronger than Ramza. But my calculator was much stronger than anyone!!! Ahh When you can set it up to get Holy to hit everyone on screen, or flare, then it's like instant death to all. How cool is that? I loved winning battles in one turn.

People hated FF8 because the story sucked! It was waaay too sci-fi and also the magivc system was really ****ed up. Drawing magic? WTF?!??

This made the game way too easy... way too easy, I only died once throughout the damn game.

Keeping games loaded inside your PS2 will eventually damage either the disc, the tray, and the motor/cog holding the disc in place (especially if you use a vertical stand like I do). Therefore, I never keep a game in my PS2- not even a movie.

However, I've been currently playing the hell out of Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness, and of course, my fave TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT.

I don't think anybody knows exactly what does and doesn't damage PS2 stuff... My friends say I shouldn't open the disc tray while the game is on (I should press restart first), but they keep games in their systems while it's off, which I heard damages the disc... Then there's stuff about playing it vertically and turning the power switch off everytime you stop playing (even if you play it frequently) instead of just putting it into sleep mode... etc... blah blah... It hurts my mind...

Dynasty Warriors Xtreme is in the tray now. Hopefully that will change to SH 3 quite soon.

I have finally aquired a copy of .hack//MUTATION. It's in my PS2 right now!!! Go .hack!
