i nearly cried in this movie...

at the end of that battle.. JESUS CHRIST.. *spoiler* just seeing gandalf arrive there... with... BAH and as they rode down that mountain .... the music is just so.. amazingly fitting... and the visuals just ... it all comes together..

and ive read the third book and im just saying that if this was helms deep... and this was THAT amazing.. then the battles in the final book will be COMPLETELY OUT OF THIS WORLD.... like... helms deep is nothing compared to what goes on in the third book..

as to what that guy said about the ents being gay was wrong.. the ents were wicked.. and what he said about helms deep was wrong too... it was a wicked battle and when the elves arrived i thought it was amazing... all those arrows... if anything the elves are the coolest characters in the story... IMO at least..

but yea we all know it was awesome and we all know we are gonna die waiting a year for the next one...

When you see gandalf at the top of the hill. and riding down with all the men. or when the elves arrive at hellms deep to fight along side the men..... you feel your self rooting for them. like, "Hell yea! kick some orc ass you guys!!!!"

Wow, this Me character is alright. I'd have to agree. I saw the movie today and I wasn't all that impressed. Like I've said before, Dead Alive is, like, so much better. And Jason1, the next time you see me running at you with a sword, don't be frightened, I'm only doing it cause BLueFire told me to.

Yeah I'm sure that TRotK will be the best of the 3. I mean it has the ending, and the endig is uber. The battles are even bigger (MUCH bigger) with not just one fort under siege but a whole city. There are also a lot more different races in those wars so that should be very heftig.

After 2 days thinking about it, I really like TTT better than when I just saw it. Like I said, I had to get used to it.

But still Ghettodude, I think the Ents could have been so much cooler if they were pictured like in the book. Like ancient powers, wise, slow to anger... but WHEN they're angry... :eek: :D

i think they called they called it the last alliance of elves and men because it was pretty significant; pretty much a aname. if an elf was a friend of a man and they did something, it would be an alliance right?or...legolas helping aragorn, an alliance?

Sorry for the double post... But I saw the movie yesterday! It was really good. The battles, the graphics, the character development, the everything was outstanding.

However.... I do not know if I liked it better than the Fellowship... I don't know... I'll have to see Two Towers again to make a better opinion, because I have watched Fellowship several times.

It was a great movie, though. But I found it almost boring until the end. In Fellowship, there was fighting often... Not only at the end.

you make it sound as though a movie is boring unless it has 'fighting' in it constantly :unsure:

and there was waaaay more action in the Two Towers than in Fellowship

i saw a truly great film last friday, it was called Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

Er, may I ask you what your idea of a great film is, because i can think of many, and not only does The Fellowship of the Ring rank up their, but so does The Two Towers.

These two films easily rank up their with the likes of The Shawshank Redemption, Good Fellas, The Shining, Terminator 1 & 2, Pulp Fiction, Minority Report, Scar Face, Manhunter etc.

I don't really like the hole build up... But whatever. I think that we are just lucky that the acting was good, because if it was like Star Wars II, it would have been pitiful.
