Help!
I'm so bad at video games, need your help in metroid.....Phazon Mines I have no idea what to do.
|
Here's what to do: First you got to the second door on your right. There, defeat all the enemies and watch as a secret door opens. Enter it. It's kinda dark, but somewhere to you left there's a small hole. Roll up and go through it. In the next room you have to defeat the enemies in a specific order. It's easy, from small to big. Then the door will open which leads you to a save point. After the save point, defeat the boss and get the new item. :)
Seriously though, I don't have the game. |
I got this game on Sunday and I am compleltely amazed at how well the conversion from 2d Metroid to 3D metroid was done.
After a while of playing the game I started to notice some creatures from the previous games. The length is also very long. I've been playing for 4 hours and am only at 16%. The bosses are a nice challenge ad the upgrades are the best(Especially the ones involving Samus's ball forms) The enviorments are very nice. Espically the ice one(The name excapes me at the time) and the screen effects(Steam,Water,Refelction of Samus's face when near electricity, and the blast from those little creatures that get one your screen). It actually gives you the expirance of being in Samus's suit. This is the best GC game so far(And will probably be the game of the year from Gamespot and IGN).This game alone(along with Super Mario Sunshine,Super Smash Brothers Melee and many more future realeases)was worth the money I paid to buy my GC. |
Nice lecture. :)
Can't wait for this stupid game! And then there's Zelda... :( |
Angrist,
You should import. You would get the game faster and also you could write, and read english. So it wouldn't be much of a problem for you. And you wouldn't have to wait till next year(It must be horrible to wait that long) |
It took me about 20 hours to complete, which includes the times I died. And I finished with 75% I think. Just thought someone might want to know. :)

Wow that is pretty fast considering how long it took other people to beat. I haven't played it yet because I unfortunetly have to wait for christmas so I'm not exactly the right person to argue this.

8 hours or so into the game, still loving every minute...The elite pirate makes all the other bosses look like poop in terms of difficulty. Damn. I know exactly what to do, but its just so hard to do it without dying. Anyone have any tips on this bad boy?

EDIT: I think I am fighting the Omega Pirate right now...not the elite pireate...its in a room with 3 patches of that blue **** that hurts you when you walk on it...thats what really messes me up...I cant avoid the pireate and the blue crap at the same time...that and I always run out of missles... |

EDIT: k, so you are fighting Omega. its basicly the same tactics that you used on Elite. jump over his ground attack and such, fire super missiles at the 4 places on his body, when he disapears turn on your x-ray visor and wait for him to appear, in the meant time until he shows up he'll send normal pirates after you, just ignore them and try to dodge their attacks till Omega shows up, he'll be recharging at a phazon pool, target him and fire a super missile, he'll disapear and then reappear again, super missile again, until he turns back to normal. then turn off you x-ray and wait for him to do a gorund energy attack, this will eventually kill the normal pirates, then do the same thing over again til he finally dies |
