I don't think it was 200. 100 tops, though I'm thinking more around 50-90 Jedi.
The novelization states that 200 showed up.

Andromida_ 05-19-2002 09:37 AM

I SAW IT!!
Well I thought I was going to see it next weekend but since it was snowing yesterday I saw it with my family then... yes I said snowing. Anyway I'm going to see it today also :) 2 times in one weekend sounds good to me...

It was really cool and I love it! As soon as the movie was over I said "Damn, I can't wait till three comes out!" my mom laughed at me... It seemed to make the other movies make more sense.
Got to love the Yoda scene :D, hehe

Really? *shrugs* I guess 200 were there.....

Didn't look like that many though, IMO....

DeathsHand 05-19-2002 03:35 PM

I don't know about 200 (although the thing says so), but there were a good bit more than 50... did you see all those light sabers turn on? It was all crazy phat shnitz!

Joeiss 05-19-2002 03:40 PM

Well, there were alot of Jedi. They were all around the colliseum. And there were two different stories that they were on. And you could see ALOT of light sabres in the backgound and stuff.

Bube 05-19-2002 03:45 PM

I watched it 2 hours ago, and I think it was great. Almost everything everybody else said about it is true.

But there's one thing I still have in my mind, and it isn't Yoda. It's Padme. Man, Anakin is so lucky! (that's just my opinion).

I need a girlfriend :).

D-Man 05-19-2002 05:06 PM

I also just saw it, good movie and all, not much else to say. :D

GameMaster 05-19-2002 08:47 PM

Does everyone else agree Natalie Portman is very nice looking? :D

Yes, she is very nice looking.

Joeiss 05-19-2002 10:16 PM

She is extremely good looking.

Saw it on Saturday, and I must say it is brilliant! It does truly make up for the mess that was Episode 1. Though it was brilliant, I don't think it matches up to the brilliance of The Empire Strikes Back.

Yes, I agree with that. In the movie, she's a lot more good-looking though.

Sorry, I just had to post about this again to get it out of my system.

Natilie Portman is mine everyone, back the hell off!

Woaha!

Revival 05-20-2002 05:08 PM

Bondini is in love!

gekko 05-20-2002 06:09 PM

She's turning 21 soon, and planning to get drunk.

Time to make my move!

Joeiss 05-20-2002 06:49 PM

She has a case of niple-itus in Episode II. In the coliseum for those of you who want to know.

Bond 05-20-2002 07:35 PM

Woaha!

GameMaster 05-20-2002 08:19 PM

StarWars fan or not, I would see the movie just to look at Natalie for 2 hours. :D

No! She's mine, I said it first!

Why did you post those pics? I was just starting to forget her. Now I'll be living like a zombie for the next 2 days, looking at every adboard in the streets for a Nokia 3510 ad with her picture on it.

Don't post anymore of those pictures. Please!

Bond 05-26-2002 04:17 PM

I hate to bring back a semi-old topic. But does anyone remember that family tree that was posted in a thread from CNN? I'm trying to find it and can't. Any help would be appreciated.

:stud: I noticed :stud:

Does she remind anyone else of Princess Leia in that film at all or is it just me

 YODA CHAN
Man that fight was excellent, I just wish it had lasted longer.

The big fight where there were loads of Jedi in the collusseum was great. There were at least 100 of them, there was a view from high above with loads of light sabre's swinging all over the place. Mace Windu's purple light sabre looked cool aswell.

For the record I think the guy who played Anikin done a good job, better than that little twat in Episode 1 by far.

Oh and just so you know Miss.Portman and I are making a movie right now :hump:

Well Leia is her daughter, y'know, right? Cuz anakin is Luke's father and Amidala is the mother (right?) and Leia is Luke's twin sister...

Although the thing that reminded me of her the most was one of her goofy hair-styles :p

Joeiss 05-29-2002 03:28 PM

She was wearing the same white outfit that Leih wore in Episode 4... Or close to it.

Ric 05-29-2002 07:10 PM

Yeah that outfit is what did it. And just the kinda way she moves and poses she makes and stuff

Back to that movie :stud:

Angrist 06-03-2002 09:52 AM

Oh man, I saw it yesterday! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D That was great!! :D

Although I hated Anakin when he told he had killed all the Tusken Raiders, also the women and children. That was just wrong... especially for a Jedi. :(

Natalie Portman is SO HOT!

And Yoda IS the master! :D

The fight with Anakin with 2 lightsabers could have been a bit longer though, that was just so neat! :D

:wtf: Oh c'mon, that was one of the best parts... Pansy

KILL ZEM ALL!

.....

Neo 06-03-2002 02:17 PM

I agree, that was the best part. I loved the scene with him travelling across the desert on the speeder. You just knew that if he found the people who took his mother there would be absolute hell to pay.

Joeiss 06-03-2002 03:02 PM

It would have been better if they showed him kill all of the sand people. :D I like gruesome stuff. Anakin showed that he can kick ass with a saber... but he would suck at t-ball. He kept on hitting their necks!

Hahaha.... :D

:sneaky:

Ginkasa 06-03-2002 03:39 PM

No, the scene of him cutting down only a few of the Raiders was sufficient. It let's us know what he does but not see it... er....

I know what I'm talking about....

Angrist 06-03-2002 04:08 PM

Showing it all would be too violent. It even surprised me that you actually saw heads falling off. The first time in a SW movie (not counting the sputid droid heads).

I could understand that he killed the critters who tortured his mom, but also the (innocent) women and children? And even the dogs???

Man, after seeing that movie I'm so in love! Not really with Natalie (I'll never get her so...), but more with the girl I already was in love with. Like someone here said: I need a grilfriend! :(:D

TheGrimReaper 06-04-2002 03:29 AM

Episode four was worse. Remember when Obi-Wan cut off that aliens arm in the cantina?

Angrist, it can't be helped. Little details like this are necessary in order to show Anakin's transition to the dark side. As far as Jedi values, him getting married was just as bad. His gold hand is pretty cool, allows for better dexterity and handling of the light saber. :D

I thought it was really corny how Amidala continued to refer to him as "Annie". It just sounded dumb... I mean, come on, the guy is 19 years old, its time to stop calling him "Annie".

Oh yeah, a whole arm!

But now you see those flying critters being cut in two. Not that I mind, but some may...

I wanna see it again, but I'm not sure if I will DL it or go to the cinema again. It's friggin expensive, it cost me more than €8! That's more than 10 dollars! :(

vstyrt 06-04-2002 10:42 AM

What about in Ep I when Obi-wan cut Darth Maul in half. . .and he like falls back and you see the two parts of his body falling separately.

I thought it was a good movie. The Yoda fight was cool. He barely walks in on his cane, then becomes this super Jedi. When the fight's over, he falls back on his cane like he can't walk properly. That made a lot of sense. :?

Angrist 06-04-2002 12:03 PM

Yeah it's weird, but cool. Like he never uses his strenght to just walk around. Or he uses the force to move and jump that fast. :D
