If you sign up for seven classes, it seems to me like you brought it on yourself.

Two term papers due Thursday.

Then two finals the next week.

I'm stressing about the papers more.. especially because I procrastinate like a bastard.. which is why I'm on GT right now

I'm still working on this stupid essay. The prof hasn't mailed me back yet, so I don't know when/where/how to hand it in. And it's hard to put all my essay pieces together.

Polytechnical institute boy.

You also forgot a comma, unless I'm unfamiliar with a gramatical tool called an "apostrophe college boy."

That's BCIT. More courses per semester and no break, so they can rush you out to the industry. My girlfriend's brother went there and now he's making loads of money working for the RCMP as a computer forensics guy. I'm slightly jealous, but nothing at BCIT interested me enough to take.

How come you put [at] and not @...

As for me, well let's see the usual.
I can't say I hate my job haven't worked a full schedule in almost two weeks. (Got to love saved up time).
I am debating what to do with myself. I want to leave this job, but I enjoy the cushion, and if I do leave what will I focus on.
As you can see, got into writing TavernTales again. Discussing with a friend the idea of starting a blog where I post an edited page from my original novel everyday or so... so I can finally read it a year later.

I know its a long shot, but also curious about starting up my own afterschool program or rec center.

Oh... and been trying to expand my musical taste by asking everyone I know for an artist/album I should check out. So feel free to offer up suggestions.

Web crawlers recognize the @ symbol and then add your email to spam lists.

If you spell it out like earl-at-breakabone-dot-com, the web crawlers breeze by it none the wiser.

Now you know!

I can't get in touch with the writer of the comic I'm working on.
I might have to stop work on it to do gig that's guaranteed pay. The quest for steady income continues.

I drew a pretty nice looking Patti Smith inspired comatose feigning part insect femme fatale though.

Re: How is everyone doing?

i was pretty surprised today.
i was late to my english class and i thought i was going to get a nice chewing out by my teacher, but instead she opened the door and let me in and said she had something for me.

about a month ago, my class had to write an impromptu on the book Metamorphosis by Franz Kafa and the topic/question was: What is Kafka telling us about isolation in the modern world?

and i myself, going into this was quite freaked out because i barely read the story, and i had no idea how much it'd be weighed on my grade.

but today was a nice surprise, she handed me by paper back and i had recieved an A on it. i didn't think it was going to be that good, and i'm not good at impromptu's, but it was a nice change of pace.

the paper itself was weighed 70% of our grade, so it helped me out bigtime.
picked my spirits up quite a bit as well.

That story is like 15 pages at most, why didn't you read it? AND its really good!

If you enjoyed it, check out another short of his, "In the Penal Colony."

I FINALLY finished my long due report. It took me so much more time, it's incredible. :(
But I'm very happy with the result. I'm going for an 8 or a 9 (although I'll be content with a 7 or even a 6).

I started the report in English, but quickly decided to do it in Dutch. The language barrier was affecting the quality. Now that it's done, I could probably translate it fairly easily, but I'm busy with my thesis proposal. :)

http://www.supernova.com/shows/2074/vote

So for the show I played it turns out it was a battle of the bands kind of thing. Top 3 bands get into the finals at a bigger venues and get a chance to win some recording time.

As well there is a wildcard vote to get into the finals so I figured I might as well whore us off to my closest internet friends.

So the link is up there, bands name is Leaf Eye and you need to sign up but it is quite easy. You can vote once a day and yeah.

You don't have to but it would help a hell of alot if you could.

Somewhat good.
Some friends from school are coming down today. Getting ready to visit them. Others are returning from university.

Then there is work, the dark spot on my life. Just found out working Christms during the prime hours of 2-10 so that kind of blows. Trying to switch with co-workers, but yeah not gonna find many.

Pretty sweet. Went to a killer concert last night.

Power Glove, check them out.

Got my license recently, learned how to belay as well. My band had our first gig the other week and have landed us another one as well.

And of course I am of legal drinking age on Monday so that means Guinness on tap

Finished my contract with Propaganda finally. Now it's time to finish school!

I also got Pure for PS3 yesterday as a gift from Propaganda. Nice! That makes four free games within 2 weeks.

I want to finish some RPGs while at school, I think. Definitely FF7 (and try not to fall asleep again).

Did your band win that vote you asked us to participate in?

Re: How is everyone doing?

I attended New York Comic Con today. I had won an iTunes logo designing contest so rather than have the podcaster ship me my prize (Showcase Flash books) I said I would meet him at Comic Con and I also agreed to help man the table of the comic I just finished.

Upon arriving I met the mother of the writer of the comic I worked on. Said there was too much cursing in the comic but explained it wasn't my fault. Then I manned the table and I sat and sat and sat.

Talked a little with my neighbor, the artist of the book Grounded, and soon to be artist on Punisher Noir for Marvel. Nice guy. And then I sat some more.

Twice different girls walked by and told me to cheer up and smile. I guess I was looking mopey.

I caught the podcaster in my field of vision and tried to make him come over to my table through mind power alone. I was watching over another table other than my own so I felt weird about leaving. He was escaping though so I made a mad dash and handed him the original drawing, received two huge books, got our picture taken by a guy from iFanboy.com (said was going to put on their blog...I fear that), and then headed back to the table to sit until the con ended for the day.

I ended up getting an A on that impromptu, something was definitely wasn't expected, but my teacher loved it. and 4 months and counting until i graduate.

Heh, I once had that when I was 15 and deliviring papers. A girl told me "Don't look so angry!"
I realized my neutral face can look pretty angry. I try to smile a bit more since then.

A week ago I had this weird thing... I cycled home from university and every girl that I met on bike, would smile at me. After the 5th I started to wonder if I had something in my face. I still don't know what that was for. I'm not complaining.

Does your bike look really cool? Or maybe you just looked sexy while riding it.

I know that when I ride my bike everyone looks at me, but that's because I have a racing bike and I'm clothed in spandex, so it's more of a situation where you don't see that everyday.

Maybe he was naked.

Have you ever noticed that it is like ten times more weird to see a naked person on a bike or rollerblading than if they were walking.

Haha, yeah. Maybe it's just strange to see someone doing a biking or rollerblading motion while naked, because it's not something we would ever generally imagine a naked person to do. And it's normal for someone naked to walk, so it's not very strange.
