Well, that happened a couple of years ago. Been working there since I graduated...sort of.

Year before last the company we did IT consulting for decided they wanted to insource their IT, so they offered everyone on my Dell team jobs.

We all accepted. Kind of hated working for Dell. Current company is very small, around 200 employees. It was also a pay increase and I have 100% free and fully covered health insurance now.

We also have some new digs - moved into this little office on main street, very cozy with all brick walls and such.

All in all, things are going well. I'm working on a Grails project, and I hate Grails, so sometimes that sucks, but oh well.

No plans on going back to school, ever.

In April of 2010 I finally got a job, but instead of an engineering job, I was just a construction inspector. The company that I worked for was called Prime Engineering Inc., and I worked on a Bridge Rehabilitation project around Wilmington, Delaware on the major highways, 95, 495, and 295. After that job I was moved to a roadway project in Newark, DE which is where the University of Delaware is located. I'm sure Germy knows all about this area.

Anyway, in August of 2011 I started a new job as a Civil Engineer Trainee with PennDOT (Pennsylvania Department of Transportation). I basically spent the year going through the office and learning what each unit does, and 5 of those months were also in construction as an inspector, which I already had experience doing. After that year was over I was put in my final placement, which is in the Utilities Unit. I'm basically their inspector for any utility work prior to any construction projects, and I inspect any railroad work on our state roads, so I'm constantly dealing with freight and passenger railroad companies too. It's nice to be involved with the railroad, but I really want to get involved in design further on in my career.

I'm working at the (inbound) callcenter of the municipality. Not what I learned for, but it's a fun job.
I have to find a new job in the coming months, because they don't have enough money to keep me.

Nice, I have that too, its called being a Canadian citizen. BAM!

Anyways, ive just started going to school for welding, and so far melting metal with fire is pretty cool. Not having an income kind of sucks but welding is booming apparently so hopefully ill land a nice job after school is done.

I work at a movie theatre. I am a Senior Manager which is right below the GM. I've been at it for four years now at my current position, which is the same amount of time I was working at a lower position combined. I'm working on getting promoted and/or transferred to a corporate position, but it hasn't been going great.

I have a lot of issues with the barriers in my way. Basically I feel most of those barriers are artificial, but I don't want to get into too much detail about it here.
