Re: Space Madness Round 1 - Strange Transmission
Why would anybody want to be locked in with others when people have gone insane.
It does not make sense! It does not make sense! Damn you Germy......I will engineer a way to figure this out....with my wrench! ![]() Critical Hit! |

Sir Fyacin -- this link I dug up from behind someone's lunchbox (sorry Mr. Professor S, I ate your sandwich it seems) may help you in this bin of loonies.
EDIT: Ahh, the police authorities, always quick to point out the rules, have beat me to it. Though this fascination with drug eradication is perplexing to me. In my day, we grew our own hemp and it was the wise thing to do. |
Re: Space Madness Round 1 - Strange Transmission
Thanks Jeep (and Mister G), makes sense.
Yoda has good reasoning(if wierdo grammar), and seeing as Germ might be a bit inclined to vote for me for certain, erm, modifications I may have made... !vote Germ |
Re: Space Madness Round 1 - Strange Transmission
I also blame Swan for screwing up the damn page formatting. The Captain does not approve of such nonsense. I've got my eye on you.

You cant vote Germy, hes the captain of the ship. And how was he supposed to know other people would be in here to, he just wanted to save himself and let everyone else die.

Re: Space Madness Round 1 - Strange Transmission
I do not have the right to be crazy. I have to keep this ship running and not let the crazies overtake it. I only locked everyone away so I could sort through in my mind who is crazy and who isn't.
My conclusion? You'd have to be crazy to vote me off, seriously. |

Re: Space Madness Round 1 - Strange Transmission
Haha, nice song. Awesome dance moves too.
First of all: !Clarification Do crazy people know they're crazy? Or are they told they are not crazy, because from their point of view, they aren't? So I was thinking. We won't be told who was what. But we do have to find a way to figure it out, so I assume there will be hints in the narration. This guy who thinks he's George Washington makes a good point. I like his 18th century's qualities, so I'll go with his reasoning. !vote Uber Paddle Edit: also, he hasn't posted yet. |
Re: Space Madness Round 1 - Strange Transmission
You should convince us otherwise then, instead of saying that we'd have to be crazy :)
I'll probably be able to visit GT again at a later time and change my vote, but if I can't I !vote Germanator. |
Re: Space Madness Round 1 - Strange Transmission
Indeed. A little convincing would be nice. We can't have a crazy captain, this needs to be sorted out now.

All those voting for me, seriously, you're making a mistake. Just so you know. More convincing, hmm...Well, I've already told you the truth which is that I haven't gone mad, but nobody seems to believe it. Can't do much more than that. |

!retract Jeepnut
!vote Uber_Paddler Honestly, we all -would- have to be crazy to kill the captain of the ship. Who the hell is going to fly the damn thing to get us out of this? Jeepnut might find my Dust, but if the ship's lost in interstellar space forever, I'll definitely not be selling it. |
Re: Space Madness Round 1 - Strange Transmission
Well I probably could fly a ship.... I've, erm, serviced enough Nav systems.
|
Re: Space Madness Round 1 - Strange Transmission
Germy and his friends aren't doing a great job defending the captain. I don't think it shouldn't matter gamewise whether he's the captain or not. Saying he can't be crazy isn't an argument.
Besides, we know for sure that he has killed somebody. He still has the bloody club in his hand. So based on what people have posted, I will change my vote. !retract Uber_Paddler !vote The Germanator |
Re: Space Madness Round 1 - Strange Transmission
Quote:
The fact that "his friends aren't doing a good job defending him" is actually a sign that he -isn't- crazy, assuming that all the crazy people know who else is crazy. The fact that there seems to be a movement towards voting him off implies that the crazy people are going for him. I don't really have any idea about Uber Paddler, it's a shot in the dark at this point, but throwing your vote onto the person already with the most votes seems like a dumb idea, as that person is most likely the one the crazy people have targeted first. |
Re: Space Madness Round 1 - Strange Transmission
I'm sensing some piling on here from the crazies. They see someone with a lead in the vote that they know is not them and are using their coordinated voting to make sure a sane person is voted out. And, they will be more brave about it this time since it won't be revealed that they voted for a sane person. This theory of course all assumes that the crazies know they are crazy and also know who each other are like in the last game.
While I don't like the way a number of people have leapt (although poorly) to Germy's defense this early in the game, I also don't like how so many have suddenly jumped on the bandwagon to vote him off. It strikes me as a coordinated effort. All that said, I will go with the other bandwagon of voting off !uber-paddler. I don't want someone who genuinely has an interest in playing the game to be voted off in the first round simply because people have a hunch. That and inactive players really throw off the game. |
Re: Space Madness Round 1 - Strange Transmission
Whether ship of metal or ship of wood, a ship is a ship and it needs a Captain. I stick with my Sir Uber Paddle vote, because no other better theory has arisen. I am willing to change my vote, though, if someone else comes up with something better, because I know my theories about Others in the last game were all for naught. Yes, I was really named George Washington in the last game, I was just not ready to reveal it.

Re: Space Madness Round 1 - Strange Transmission
Perhaps I should side with the majority and vote for the Paddler of Uber. Such conduct has served me well in the past. I learned quickly that consuming human flesh was frowned upon.
I do have special abilities though. And those abilities are clear and logical reasoning skills. I must vote for the engineer. His burst of maniacal laughter disturbed my bowels and chilled my tail bones. A sure sign of insanity if ever there was one. !vote Swan |
