Holy Sh*t Jessica Alba,

I didnt even care if they *Spoiler* didnt show much of anything from her *end of Spoiler!* but we all knew that right? Anyway, the entire movie was brutal to the end and I LOVE IT!!!

Black and White really helps the comic book genre of movies...

'Cause we all know what worked for a graphic novel that was printed in black and white will work for all comic book movies.

Forget the red and blue tights or the red head MJ, the next Spider-Man movie will all be grey!

;)

They could just make Spider Man and Mary Jane colored and everything else black and white....

...And then, they could learn how to spread the color to others Pleasantville styled, and spiderman's web shooters will turn into spray paint cans.

Oh, and the hookers' rooftop shooting made me cringe and laugh at the same time. I hope it was made to look so....weird.

***End Spoilers***

The beginning was from the short story "The Customer Is Always Right." The end was made for the movie.

Finally got it. Good movie. Shlubb and Klump are a lot more pleasant to listen to than read. Shame they didn't show Marv's mom. The Nazi with the arrows still my favorite part in the entire series. Gotta love that guy.

In case anyone is wondering about Dwight talking about his new face...read the books. :) Would explain it but they hinted at making a sequel.

I just saw this movie tonight.

Wow. I was completely blown away. It went above and beyond my expectations for the movie. I saw it with a friend of mine, and we were constantly talking about the symbolism of the colors that they used and the things that they said.

It was one of the best movies that I've seen in a long time. I think that Marv and Dwight were my favorite characters, but I also liked Hartigan.

And Jessica Alba...was just gorgeous. As usual.

I can't wait for this movie to come out on DVD so I can buy it.

Eh...I've come to the point where I'm not sure whether it's worth it to see a movie the second time around...With theater prices at least at $7 some dollars...it's just too much. Being a college student, I'd rather see something new or save that money for booze or candy or something...

Yes, too true. It cost me 6.50 just to get a ticket, not counting a 2 dollar bottle of water and snacks.

But it was worth it. The theatre is very very nice. The picture quality is awesome, and the sound system is fantastic. Like when people are shooting or it's raining, you can hear it from the direction it is on the screen.

I think Sin City is one of the very very few movies worth seeing again.

$10 a ticket here with like $3 for a bottle of water :-o But, I was planning watching again last night so it's all good.

Definitely one of the better movies I've seen in a while. Saw it the night after it came out, never saw this topic until now.

Beautiful art direction... just absolutely fantastic visuals.

Re: SIN CITY

So I finally saw the movie, a week late, I know, but I couldn't coordinate it last week. Anyway, best comic book movie I've seen. Period. Sure...Spiderman 2 was a good movie, but it wasn't as good of a comic-book movie. Sin City had everything.....hookers, boobs, great dialogue, good cast, good acting, good story...tarantino...I give it 14 stars, a pretzel, and this piece of lint I just found. Go see it if you haven't, otherwise you're missing out.

(And take it with a grain of salt, it really is over-the-top-over-the-top)

Haha. I was thinking the same thing. I HATE that. Buying the same movie twice....

I also got the cover with Harttigan and nancy, though i was contemplating the Dwight cover. The poster i got is basically the movie poster that has all the characters on it. Oh i also got a free temporary tattoo but i gave it to deejzguy.

I'm waiting for the version with the extras. I see no point in wasting my money on something that I can get a superior version of just a few months down the line. At the most, I may rent this release...

What's that mean? We're going to be watching the movie while listening to the crowd at the theater where they premiered the movie? That might get a bit annoying...

On the one hand, I just have to laugh at the idea of watching a cooking show with Robert Rodriguez, and on the other hand, I just have to say, "What the hell?!"

But maybe they're talking about a different kind of cooking or something.

Neither of which I care one whit about.

Don't get me wrong. The feature list is great, and I'll probably get the DVD. It's just that some of them confuse me.

Re: SIN CITY

I think the audience thing could be kind of neat for a little while. I know that one of my favorite things about the Star Wars premieres was the environment with the people and the cheering and stuff. Sin City fans could get a taste of that in their own homes... Sort of. That's probably the idea, anyway.

And your reaction to the cooking show was the exact same as mine...

And I like trailers...
