First one going to guess, your breath.

Second one I know is suicide. Heard it before as well.

Wholesome. :)

Let's try to post riddles in cursive and answers in bold, ok?

Once you know what I am, I'm not that anymore.

how can it be a pig??? pigs smell horrible after they're dead... unless you mean like ham or something? lol

and the last two were pretty easy.

two men walk up a hill each day. one day they walk up the hill and find a cabin which hadn't been there the day before. they look in the window of the cabin and see two dead men. the cause of death is apparent, and obviously unnatural, although there are no signs of physical harm to the men other than some scrapes and bruises. how can they know how the men died?

Riddle time:

Here on earth it is true, yesterday is always before today; but there is a place where yesterday always follows today. Where?

Crash 03-15-2005 05:07 PM

Re: Riddle Me This/Riddle Me That

yep...

here's more

Quote:

1. A woman shoots her husband. Then she holds him under water for over 5 minutes. Finally, she hangs him. But 5 minutes later they both
go out together and enjoy a wonderful dinner together. How can this be?

2. There are two plastic jugs filled with water. How could you put all of this water into a barrel, without using the jugs or any
dividers, and still tell which water came from which jug?

3. What is black when you buy it, red when you use it, and gray when you throw it away?

4. Can you name three consecutive days without using the words
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday?

5. This is an unusual paragraph.
I'm curious how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it? It looks so plain you would think nothing was wrong with it! In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is unusual though. Study it,
and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out! Try to do so without any
coaching!

Quote:

1. If you have it, you want to share it. If you share it, you don't have it. What is it?

2. The more you have of it, the less you see. What is it?

3. What book was once owned by only the wealthy, but now everyone can have it? You can't buy it in a bookstore or take it from a library.

4. What gets whiter the dirtier that it gets?

5. What happened in the middle of the twentieth century that will not happen again for 4,000 years?

6. What has no beginning, end, or middle?

7. What has to be broken before it can be used?

8. What does no man want, yet no man wants to lose?

9. How many bricks does it take to complete a building made of brick?

10. Big as a biscuit, deep as a cup, even a river can't fill it up. What is it?

The Day After Tomorrow?

And Crash, it doesn't really add to the atmosphere when you quote it right ffrom another site. :(

2. There are two plastic jugs filled with water. How could you put all of this water into a barrel, without using the jugs or any
dividers, and still tell which water came from which jug?
Freeze the water of 1 jug. :)
4. Can you name three consecutive days without using the words
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday?
Easy: yesterday, today, tomorrow

1. If you have it, you want to share it. If you share it, you don't have it. What is it? A secret.
2. The more you have of it, the less you see. What is it? Darkness? Or something else that obstructs sight.
4. What gets whiter the dirtier that it gets? A roof with snow on it? Or basicly anything that gets white stuff on it... like a plate with powder sugar...
6. What has no beginning, end, or middle? Time...?
7. What has to be broken before it can be used? ehm.. I was thinking about glue, but then the sentence wouldn't make sense. Bread. You can't eat bread before you cut/break it...

Bube 03-15-2005 05:22 PM

Re: Riddle Me This/Riddle Me That

Batch 1, 1: She shoots a photograph of him.

Batch 1, 5: No letter "e" in the whole paragraph.

Batch 2, 2: Alcohol :D

Batch 2, 7: An egg.

Batch 2, 8: A job, probably.

That's all from me. No idea about the other ones, and I really want to know the answer to the one Typhoid asked.

You're saying I'm right? Sweet.

I think Ligers (not the fantasy creatures) are also in the same category as mules... well, except they're obviously not as common.

Not to mention "Beefalo," "Zeedonks," and "Wholphins"

3. What is black when you buy it, red when you use it, and gray when you throw it away?
Coal...?

3. What book was once owned by only the wealthy, but now everyone can have it? You can't buy it in a bookstore or take it from a library.
Dictionary... Bible... ?

4. What gets whiter the dirtier that it gets?
Condom.

5. What happened in the middle of the twentieth century that will not happen again for 4,000 years?
If it's not Hale Bop or another comet of some sort, then it's gotta do with numbers :p

6. What has no beginning, end, or middle?
Circle. Planes and lines (as well as anything else infinite) have none of those, either

10. Big as a biscuit, deep as a cup, even a river can't fill it up. What is it?
My heart :(

Some more fun riddles:

I know a word of letters three.
Add two, and fewer there will be.

What is the word?

Riddle me this!

Whoever makes it, tells it not.
Whoever takes it, knows it not.
And whoever knows it wants it not.

What is it?

Also, noone has answered this:

What stinks while living, but in death, smells good?

Re: Riddle Me This/Riddle Me That

I answered this....

A pig..... smells BETTER in death, but not good.. LOL (biology teacher tought me that)

The word is Five

Three + Two, is Five and there are fewer letters, then in three.

Counterfeit Money.

Crash 03-16-2005 01:51 PM

Re: Riddle Me This/Riddle Me That

no it's "empty"

"m.t."
"emp t."
"mpty"

etc etc etc etc

The rest are good, but I was looking for something else in this one, although your answer works too.

Can you think of the answer I'm looking for?

MuGen 03-16-2005 01:54 PM

Re: Riddle Me This/Riddle Me That

Thats impossible...

A word of letters THREE - self explanatory.
ADD two - THREETWO or THREE + TWO?
Fewer it will be - THREE + TWO = FIVE having one fewer letter.

It's not a word that can be written three times over saying the same thing.

in response to the empty... answer

EDIT: Few is three letters and if you add two letters, Fewer it will be.....

The word is few...... thats pretty tricky.

ulala06 03-16-2005 04:11 PM

Re: Riddle Me This/Riddle Me That

the fewer one was EASy.

AND FOR THE LAST TIME:

it can't be a pig because dead pigs smell AWFUL!!!!!!!111one!!!

MuGen 03-16-2005 04:17 PM

Re: Riddle Me This/Riddle Me That

It is a pig, my lovely beauty, for my biology teacher taught us that riddle ages ago.

And they do smell better then they do when living, as he tought it while we were dissecting it.

In any case... thats the answer no doubt about it.

the only way it could be a pig is if you were talking about how when a pig dies you cook it as pork... they smell just like any other animal that's dead.
