Re: How does one learn Java
I'm taking a java course to fullfill some of my core computer sciene classes right now. I love the class and haven't even opened the book this whole semester so far. Maybe thats because my college is good at teachin computer science and i have a very good prof. Anways, i love it. Um..i took some c++ at my local community college before coming up here and was in the book a lot but i still loved the class. My teacher there was really cool though too. I dunno why u guys complain about it being boring, what do you expect, its a programming class. Anyways, i learn way more and retain a lot more from a class and actually goin through the homeworks and doing it than from reading reference books or those dummy books. Maybe thats just me...

Pros:
-Stoner -Wears Sandals -Constantly eating -Sparratic movement -Rides a bike instead of a car -Always wears shorts -Doesnt use C++ -Marks easily -"Vanishes" -Gave me an "A" -When I forgot my ID to show to the yearbook people, he gave me a yearbook for free without my ID. -Sick half the time -Lets students play Starcraft -Knows I'm a computer powerhouse Cons: -Retard -Laughs uncontrollably -Is stupid -Doesn't seem to think students need help with their work -Gullible, extremely gullible -Doesn't mark some assignments if he doesn't feel like it -Freaks out at me if I have a powerbar at the computer. A freaking powerbar. |
Re: How does one learn Java
i took intro to java, easy stuff, but it really gets complicated later on. Java's only useful if you plan to make web programs.
