Me, 16, going on 17 in a month, too lazy to get driver's license.

Hmm just as a reminder.. I'm still 8 days older than you sucka...

So for those dumb enough not to understand.. I'm 16 turning 17 in one month (Exactly one month from today March 2nd)

15, I start driving in April (when I'm 15 1/2)... heh.. :mad2:

I wouldn't get too excited. Driving with a permit beyond sucks. You have to drive with your parents sitting next to you, and it's so damn annoying listening to them complain about things they do constantly. That, and i'm a lazy bastard. If my Mom is going to be in the car, I'd rather she drives so I can kick back and doze off :D

Now a license is a different story, because you have the ability to leave. But the permit just bites the big one.

And driving automatics sucks too. Talk about a boring drive.

Revival 03-03-2002 10:59 AM

Yeah, but I need to drive with my parents now so I can take drivers ed in school so I can actually get my license. Also, I'm learning how to drive with my brother's standard, so I'll be all set.

I'm not sure if I'm going to get a automatic or a standard when I get my first car.. that's up for change.

gekko 03-03-2002 11:07 AM

It's manual, not standard. The problem is used cars are hard to find in a color you like with a stick. But if you buy new, you save about $800 if you get manual transmission.

I know, my brother saved about $750 when he bought his new car -- a manual.

D-Man 03-03-2002 12:40 PM

Well, I'm too poor to get a drivers liscence, that, and also the fact that I'm too lazy also. :D

Angrist 03-03-2002 01:05 PM

18 year and almost 8 months. :gum:

This is kind of scary. This topic has gone on to two pages, and only two people who replied are older than me (jeepnut and Angrist). And only one person (i.e. jeepnut) is in college like myself.

In case you haven't figured it out, I'm 17 years and 7 months old.

Ric 03-03-2002 03:43 PM

Whoa... I am 17 and 8 months, didnt know I was older than you Xantar weird, didnt think I was older than that many people on the boards either. Ha now I know who I can tell to respect their elders, lol.

Havent got enough sponduli to get a drivers licence.
