Re: Minor Problem
Yeah, the instructions work the same way on all connections. Your still recreating the network stack so any communications is done on it that should be cleared up. But if that doesnt work, just reformat again. I've had to do it one time when XP kept giving errors after a reformat to fix a different error. And the second reformat fixed everything.

Re: Minor Problem
Well those instructions did the trick, but now my link quality is so low, and the internet is so slow. I also get this error once in a while: This system has detected a conflict for IP address 192.168.1.100 with the system having hardware Address 00:E0:18:4E::72:0C. The interface has been disabled.
Yeah, I'm talking to Jonbo about it right now. He said it's probably why my link quality isn't so great at the moment. |
Re: Minor Problem
I'm sick of this. I got my computer all fixed and online, but now my dad's computer isn't online and neither is my sisters. Now how can my dad's not be online, but mine can when he is the host computer for the cable modem?! Mine is just wireless. The modem is plugged into the router, my dad's computer is plugged into the router, and then my sister's computer and my computer get the signal wirelessly. Do you think it has to do with that thing I did with the registry to get my internet to work?
