Well there was 4 swords... but that was kinda impossible to play because you need buddies with stuff for it. :unsure:

The reason I haven't stayed with my GBA is that exact reason. Fresh, new 2D games have not been made for that yet and I am really getting sick of all of these ports. I understand why they are doing it, because the biggest userbase of the GBA is the younger kids who have not played the SNES and NES before. However, they need to cater to everyone with new material and not sit on their ass farting out the same old stuff.

Well, that's how generations role... at first a bunch of new stuff comes out, then the sequals start pooring in. That's just a way of life, it makes developer's job easier. People who are saying there is nothing original (and even worse going year to year instead of Generation to generation) need to look again. Some games that would be calledsequals or taking use of a popular licence could be considerd original too, like DBZ:B or GTA3.
