Ok perhaps I was wrong about Kidman. But I didn't really like her in Gangs of New York, but I shouldn't have based my opinion on 1 movie...

What about Renee Zellweger (spelling?)? I think she's pretty cute AND a good actress. I loved her in Jerry Maguire with Tom Cruise. :D

I don't really like Renée Zellweger, I suppose she's an OK actress, but she's always making that really weird/ugly pouty face or something...let me see if I can find an example. Like here, I think she looks really unattractive when she's not smiling or something.

i don't really think renee zellweger ranks right up there with Kidman for acting and don't really think she matches Zeta Jones with looks... she's a good actress but not someone that I think will go down in history

I actually think Renee is a VERY good actress.

Not quite as good as the top handful, but damn close. And I don't like the pouty face either, Germy.

And I agree with ya, JS...she's not quite at the top of acting or attractiveness, but she's above average in both areas IMO so that makes her a pretty big star.

Not sure if you said that with caps because of what i said, but wanted to clarify... I do think she is a good actress, she's just not one of the greatest.

I only say she's OK because I personally have no evidence of her being great. I haven't seen Cold Mountain or Chicago or whatever else movies that she is great in. I guess I should have said that I have no judgement on her, due to lack of evidence. I take back my "ok" comment until I have seen her in more movies.

Well...I see good movies. If she is in a movie I wanna see, then yeah, that won't effect me wanting to see the movie...But if she is in a movie that I don't care for, than obviously I won't see it.

Chicago is a good movie, but you haven't seen that yet... of course, I would imagine that it is not your style of movie, right? I would not expect many guys to go for it unless they were watching to see Catherine Zeta Jones half naked (ask jeepnut)...
of course, I'm not always right, there are lots of guys that really like it

Again yes, by my definition and style, not a movie I would like to see. I probably wouldn't mind it if someone put it on, but I'm not going out of my way to see it.

I really liked Chicago, INCLUDING Catherine Zeta Jones being half naked ;)

Music is great...fantastic direction...some VERY creative ideas (see: puppet master scene ;)) and good acting.

Some talent out there I didn't know much of...Catherine Zeta Jones can really dance, and John C. Reilly can really sing. Good stuff.
