Re: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Reviews
Software ETC (Gamestop, whatever) got it at 7 PM tonight. I think that I got one of the last copies too, there was quite a long line. Anyway, it's pretty good so far. The combat system is simple and easy to use. The voice acting is awesome. The controls are good. The graphics are pretty good, although I did think they would be a little bit better, I can't complain. The cut scenes are awesome. It's really a great game so far.
It's pretty cool though how you can pick your own replies in conversations. I suppose I "insulted" one of the aliens, I really didn't think much of it at the time. But when I went back to the area where we was he brought his buddy and attacked me. Luckily I kicked his ass. :) |
Can you pick replies in almost any conversation, like with just random extras, or is it only in certain places for the story or just a few people or what?

You can pick replies in almost any conversations. There are a wide variety of replies also. Some favor the dark side, others favor the light side. You can also sometimes try to persuade people into thinking something, sometimes people persuade you into doing or thinking something. There are so many options I couldn't explain them all. It's awesome though that you actually have the choice to decide what you say rather than be a 3rd party in most RPGs. Some of the decisions are really hard to make.

exactly the same as Console games. except more upgradable, better looking (if you have a system to handle it) better fps (same thing) and they never end because of countless addons and maps and mods.
Plus you can use any Console controller on them to play the game. but yea. computer games arent too great. ;) |
Re: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Reviews
When does it come out on PC? Or was it a simultaneous release?
|
Re: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Reviews
.. well gamespot says 10/14
but often they forget to update. so it might be out ....or then again they could be right and theres a couple things needed to be done on the pc version. i prefer multiplayer so i never paid much attention to when this one is out |

Re: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Reviews
Why would you wait for the PC version?
It's great on Xbox if you ask me, and by the time it comes out for the PC I'll be done with it on Xbox. :) By the way, lightsabers own. |
