I agree people like him make the world a sicker place.

What are you talking about?
People these days attach no shame to homosexuality. It is considered wrong in every important religion(Christianity, Judaism, Islam). It's just like Sen. Santorum said, homosexuality, incest, and adultery are all related. Why? If no one snitches, no one has to know. Those are all different people. Some people can't help being attracted to little kids. Some people can't help trying to get more than one wife. Some people are just naturally hot-tempered and they kill people. They're just different. They should never change. :D There are a lot of people out there who think the same thing but are too afraid to say it. If someone gay told you he was attracted to you, you'd say it's cool, right? |

ditto! its like making fun of a disabilitated person just cuz he can't run as fast as you. Besides, i doubt i'd see you complaining if you saw lesbians making out in public, as for relating guys who rape kids and serial killers to homosexuals, thats the stupidest comparison i've ever heard in my life!!! do u really wanna know the difference?? its the fact that when 2 ppl are gay, theres no victim. If you don't want to see gay people fine, don't look at it, if it really bothers you that someone is different, thats your opinion, its just like i choose not the play those stupid dance games in the arcade, you don't want to, then don't. As for religion saying that its wrong, if you pay attention to the smaller details, just about all religions tell you to overcome differences and under ppl for who they are, do you really think that Jesus would be a homophobe????? |

You can see whether it's a boy or girl. From that we get sex discrimination. Look at it, and you can see it's relative age. From tha we get age discrimination. Okay. Look at the baby again. What tells you if it is straight or not? Nothing. Because that is a matter of choice. |

That's where I have to disagree.
You can't discriminate against the basic makeup of people. But I personally don't have to like your personal choices. They try to make it something other than choices. Homosexuality is a choice. If I said, I hate guys who go out and have sex with a different girl every night, you'd probably have no problem with that. If I said, I hate people who smoke, you'd probably have no problem with that, right. Those are all different people, aren't they? |
um... I think racism is different than hating a person for being gay...
The main reason is if you hate sombody for being gay, you hate them for thier actions. Hating a person because his or her race is based on thier appearence and has nothing to do with what actions they made or how good or bad thier personality is. What if a guy comes to you and says that he loves having sex with Children age 5 and under... and he claims he was "born this way", what makes him any different from a gay person? It's all in what you think is moral or not, or what is acceptable sexual behavior. Desire and Actions are allways an option... they chose to do this, and I think it is wrong, they chose to do that and I think it is right. Either way I believe if you want to, you can hate a person for thier actions. Some guys (both straight and gay) think that being gay is acceptable sexual behavior, some don't... some think sleeping with young children is acceptable sexual behavior, some think it's wrong... some think Crashing into a building in an airplane to kill thousands of people is acceptable behavior, some think it's wrong... The fact is, there is no right or wrong... it all depends on YOU and what YOU feel is acceptable or not. |
And even though you say it's different, some people hate black people and some don't... Some people hate hispanic people and some don't... Some people hate Americans and some don't...

that's whole point of my post, my opinion is that it's acceptable to hate for actions, but not apperance. -EDIT- and don't expect me to take a side on this "gay is right/wrong" debate" :p |

And, technically, homosexuality is illegal in this country. In 1986, Bowers v. Hardwick case in the Supreme Court, it was ruled that the Constitution does not give people the right to engage in consexual sex in whatever form in the privacy of their homes. That's 1986. It was about some gay guys in Georgia. I read it in one of my college books. The reasoning doesn't make too much sense, but whatever. And Game, everyone can tell where you stand on this ..;) |
