No because calling it Dumb and Dumb would make sense. The point is everything about this movie is dumb so why not label a prequel with a future-tense title :)

I want to see Bruce Almighty.

I saw the trailer for this movie and sat through it completely straight faced. It's not even that I didn't find the jokes funny. My roommates and I were watching it, and we couldn't even identify what were supposed to be the jokes. It was so bad that it was painful. And this is surely not a good sign. If a movie doesn't even have enough material to keep me moderately entertained for two minutes, there's no way it's going to keep my attention for an hour and a half. I'm gonig to avoid this movie like the plague.

I think the movie could be very funny. I look forward to seeing it in the theatres. It's a long stretch to say it will be as good as the original, but it should still be pretty good.

Anyhow, I have never seen the original Dumb and Dumber or bothered to stick around through the whole thing so I guess this will be more of the same.

The first is one of the best comedies ever. But not it has a new everything, and I have much doubt in it.
