10 hours on the first disc isn't bad.... Well, as long as you're almost done with the first disc, otherwise you just suck ;) But saying you're "Only on the first disc" isn't a big deal since the second disc is so damn short :p So yeah... |
i beat the game with Chris on normal my first time in 7 hours, then i beat it with Jill in 4 hours
|
It took me 11 hours with Jill the first time, without using a guide.
But 10 hours and still on disc 1? .... maybe Angrist should tell us where he is on the first disc. if hes not past the residence yet...then......lol. |

Ummm, DarkMaster, I know it's not out. I am referring to Devil May Cry not Devil May Cry 2. Also, I beat RE: Code Veronica in 12 hours or so. Besides, if I play it again, I can beat it in 6 hours. Also, Onimusha didn't even take my friend 8 hours. These survival/horror games by Capcom are way too short. Breat of Fire 3 by Capcom took me a well 63 hours to beat. I usually rent these games. Also, just like Crono said, 10 hours on the first CD is kinda bad. But guess what? You are about to beat the game in an hour or 2. I call 10-12 hours short too. The minimum should at least be 25-30 hours no matter what the genre is. Sorry, I just think short games aren't worth the purchase. |
For me DMC is like almost every other Capcom adventure/horror game (e.g. Onimusha, RE, Dino Crisis). Too short, things feel as if they are missing, bad voice acting and poor structure of gameplay. Oh did I mention lack of enemy variety? Bloody hell in DMC I versed the same boss about 50 billion times, and there are only a few types of enemies.
So DMC2 is not doing for me much atm, probably never will, unless somebody like Konami make it. No offence, but Capcom should only stick to fighting games, and Megaman (2d megaman). |
