Ya.

Ah, I remember SNL's rendition of Space Racer. Go George Clooney, go George Clooney, go George Clooney, Go!

Bond 09-06-2002 09:34 PM

Where the hell is Yogi Bear? Where is Garfield too? I am outraged...

Glad to see Underdog is there though.

Drunk Hobbit 09-06-2002 09:37 PM

Damn straight.

"A list of cartoon characters without Pinky and the Brain is not a list of cartoon characters." (old chinese proverb).

But Animaniacs made the terrible mmistake of having clever jokes which went way over the heads of it's target audience.

I am also very disappointed not to see Droopy, but at least Felix the Cat is there. He too goes well with LSD, or so I'm told.

Mind you, if I did a list of cartton characters who should be in that list, it'd be longer than that list itself.

38. Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner

:beat:

I always thought Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner was so dumb. I mean you have this supposedly intelligent coyote spending all this money on inventions, which he uses to try and catch the Road Runner, when he could have just used the money to buy himself dinner.

Actually I do and I think you're trying to imply that cartoons aren't always supposed to make sense. Well that's true, but it was just the same damn thing every time with Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner. I mean did they ever even switch the setting from the desert to something different? Most shows that do the same basic thing in each episode at least switch things up a bit every now and then. I can't even remember one time when they even did that with the Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner ......

Perfect Stu 09-13-2002 03:07 PM

they thought up so many creative ways for Wile E Coyote to nearly kill himself with hilarious consequences :D

:burger:

I also like the cartoons with Bugs Bunny and Wile E. Coyote: Genius. Like the one where Wile creates a giant magnet and a magnetic carrot so that when Bugs ate the carrot he would fly right over to the magnet, but then Bugs just pretends to eat it and Wile E Coyote turns the magnet on and he convieniently stands in front of the magnet and all these metallic things come flying at him like a fridge and a 747...
