I believe you are okay with point and shake.

I do believe you need to tilt for certain parts of the game however.

The funny thing about not having online is how easy it is to program these days.

Like, it should be -no- problem to port Mario Kart or any other online Nintendo game's network code to a different game. It's just sending messages over a network.

Yeah and they do it so randomly.

Batallion Wars 2 had online co-op, which worked fine.
Mario Strikers Charged had leaderboards.
Smash had... lag....
Animal Crossing had voice chat.

But nothing carries over.

No consistency. Worse then the PSN, which isn't even that great, but then again it's free. But if Nintendo is going to do it free, at least do it.

This game looks like fun. I don't know if I'll get it thanks to the little time I've got and the lot of games I'd like to get. But eventually I'll get it for sure. The lack of online support sucks, though.

No online is ok by me; Smash Bros sucked online. I'm glad to only have splitscreen.

Yeah but online in Kart and BWii and several other games is fine, they are so random with it.

And not exactly "Splitscreen" :p

Well actually, it's splitscreen - the screen is split between 2-4 players. :D It's not a face-value term.

The changes to the 'easy mode' sound good. It's now called 'Super Guide'. You only get the option after you've died 10 times. You hit a block and the computer takes over. Until you touch a button, then you're in charge again.

And if you're afraid you'll be tempted, you can turn it off in the options menu. :)
