Yeah, we're playing a show with a friend's band who are locals. Should be a good time. I really like Madison.

Re: Status of your school/study/job
I'm in the intermediate stage between college graduate and first real job.
How old I feel. Especially after reading some of these posts. Pretty soon, there'll be a "post pics of your kids" thread. |

Now wasn't this thread a nice break from all the political ones? :D
My supervizor was happy with the report. :) |
Re: Status of your school/study/job
Might as well. Just started my programming coop at Propaganda Games and I'm so glad I'm back. I'm working in Core Tools which is a huge change of pace for me, but my degree actually has helped.
I'm so stoked for what the company is doing right now. It's a good place to be. I just hate that I have 5 courses left at school. :( |

Re: Status of your school/study/job
I saw a guest watch this thread and I found out it's a good place to post.
I finished my MSc in November 2009. I've been looking for a job since then, but it's incredibly hard. Last week I started a temporary job which has been fun so far. Farmers can get subsidized for natural elements on their land. I process those requests (with about 50 others). It's nice to work with something visual (maps) and nature-related. |
Re: Status of your school/study/job
After this semester, I just have two classes and then I'll have my Bachelor of Fine Arts for film.
Still working on my grad film. And working at Starbucks :\ |
Re: Status of your school/study/job
Still working at Perot Systems, same as the last two years, except now it's Dell Perot Systems and soon to just be Dell Services.
My boss asked me a while back if I had an interest in being hired full time after I graduate, which I definitely do. :) I'm all set to graduate this coming May...so I'm pretty excited about that. |
Re: Status of your school/study/job
I graduated in December with a BS in Civil Engineering. I've been looking for a job since the start of January and haven't had any luck yet, but hopefully I'll get one at some point this year.

Re: Status of your school/study/job
Starting my second year at Con Edison in NYC while constantly working in the theatre.
I don't know why I said that... I guess I was a follower for this moment... |
Re: Status of your school/study/job
I graduated three years ago as an EE. Just now studying again to relearn everything so I can take the FE, the first exam and step of becoming a licensed professional engineer.
Currently looking for a new job. I'm ready for a change. I also have a couple ideas that I'd like to start into a business. But, while I'm a good electronics engineer, computer programmer, and product designer, I have no business training and no idea how to get funding. I wouldn't even know where to start with getting a business registered with the gov't, and what type of business to choose. Anyone got any tips on that? |
