Well, it doesn't work as well with the DC characters.
But a case could be made for the entire MK universe. With sorcerers and gods and other dimensions. :p

I remember in the cartoon Batman was keeping his upper hand on superman with the cryptonite lol. But yeah, I thin superman should be a boss or something in any fist to fist fighting game.
