Rechargeables are essentially the same thing, I cant see there being a problem with using them over normal batteries. ... but who knows haha

Ha, Gamer's back.

At any rate, I use rechargeable batteries all the time on my Wii-Mote and it doesn't change the battery life at all from when I used regular alkaline batteries as far as I can tell.
