Re: PSP Launch!
most of it your gunna need anyway. i mean i think you'll end up needing a case, spiderman you can do without, but its under 20 anyway, and thats really the only thing. What else besides that do you get with the current bundle that you'd want to take out to save money?

Re: PSP Launch!
nothing really..... cleaning cloth keeps my psp shiny....strap keeps it with me.... case protects it... headphones help with sound, while in busy areas...spiderman2 was a good deal but not needed... charger obviously a must have....

Re: PSP Launch!
Well...I think I'm going to save up and ask my parents to buy half of it for my birthday, and I'll pay the other half.

Re: PSP Launch!
It's a great machine, and the battery life isn't as bad as I feared.
My day yesterday consisted of the following: Playing Darkstalkers for 20 minutes. Go eat, and play some more afterwards.... about 5 minutes. Played some more when we got outside for about 10 minutes. Then we decided to chill inside my car and watch Spiderman 2 (about 2 hours long) Played some more Darkstalkers another 20 minutes. All this without charging... and I had about 3.5 hours left of battery life. Thats pretty darn good. |
Re: PSP Launch!
How do you put music on it?
Can you put like MP3's? |
Re: PSP Launch!
Connect it to computer using usb cable. it comes up as a Removable Disk... drag mp3's into the folder.
Yup! |
Re: PSP Launch!
yea, its a very very nice piece of hardware. And battery life depends on the game, but its been exagerated so much to make the psp look bad. just like thoes fake videos of games shooting out, when you can see thier finger was on the eject button and they were holding it upside down.
Battery life will get better, developers will program ways to save power and i have no doubt sony will make a new batter pack you can buy that has longer life then the current battery pack. |
Re: PSP Launch!
Pelican is releasing a 25 hour battery for the PSP that will go for $100
But depending on what your doing, it'll probably be around 15 hours. I strongly suggest anyone who is planning to hold movies and music to invest in a larger memory stick. I have a couple of songs but left about 8megs on the default 32meg to deal with game saves (like the PS2) |
Re: PSP Launch!
Sounds like its doing really well for launch.
But, like others said, it may be nice to get a lot of that stuff in a bundle, but I'm not interested in headphones, Spiderman 2, or a strap. The only things I would want is the charger, and maybe the case. But, its not a horrible deal either, so I'm still holding out. Also, I don't have disposable income until summer rolls around. |
Re: PSP Launch!
No Headphones? How do you expect to get a good gaming experience on plane rides or on noisy bus rides? or even just in a noisy place...
