this reminds me of "labyrinth"...

"would a man from the other town tell me that this way leads to the city of truth?"

Hint: To defeat Kyuzo, the evil riddler, simply insert a piece of any of his riddles between quotation marks and enter it into Google. The answers to his and other trickster's riddles will soon become apparent.

Yeah, totally from Labyrinth, well maybe not originally, but still...

The Riddle of CANDY Has been solved....although a good guess the letters C and Y is the correct answer.

Answer this paradigm...

If a tree falls, and no one is around to hear it, does it still make a sound?

and this one,

What would be the next sequence of numbers:
11
21
1211
11221
212211
12112221
1112213211
312211131221
1311334113112211
11132123142113212221
........

And no googling! GameMaster!

If honest and the path leads to truth the man would say "no"
If honest and the path leads to false the man would say "yes"
If a liar and the path leads to truth the man would say "no"
If a liar and the path leads to false the man would say "yes"

but while you are correct, I forgot a very important detail that set this apart from the labyrinth .

The ammendment to the riddle is as follows:
Suppose neither of the two villages know of the other's existance nor their abilities to tell truth or not.

You gain credit for giving an answer to the original question. However, I did indeed leave a part out. Mah bad,

Just a suggestion but imo it would be better if one person posted a riddle and whoever answers it correctly gets to post the next riddle. Not everyone just throwing them out whenever. That way it's kind of like a more guidelined competition.

So yeah, someone post a riddle!

*rolls eyes* This ones super easy:

"A man and his son are driving in a car, They get into a fatal accident, the man dies, and the boy is hospitalized.

When rushed in, the nurse says to the doctor "Doctor, this boy was in a serious car accident, and needs to be operated on right away."

The Doctor says "I can't operate on him, He is my son."

How is this possible?

Again, its super easy, I dont know why im bothering...someone else probably put it already.

"I have no legs, Yet I can run, What Am I?"

The man died, and the boy was hospitalized, but the other driver on the other side of the accident is the Doctor's son.

Nope, you're thinking too hard.

The doctor is the boy's grandfather?

kind of offshot but it's a try.

Nope, considering the doctor says "He is my son."

You guys are lame, and your thinking WAY too hard.

One more wrong answer and I'll just say it, I can't wait for this lameness to stop. :p

"What would you answer if I asked you what way the City of Truth is?"
If he lies, it will be a double lie, thus telling the truth. :)

I've heard that little kids solve that with no problem at all. We're thinking too hard, too mathemetic perhaps.
But I don't know the answer. :(

It ends with 11.

The answer I for my labyrinth style question, assuming the man knows nothing of either city, is "which way, of these two paths, did you come from?" He will point you to the truth.
