I didn't really want to make a new thread for this but I thought it would fit in here:

Someone on my campus is selling modified PS2's. The way they spoke about them in the flyer, I think they are flip-top consoles. I thought it sounded neat but no pictures.

Happy Birthday to the PS2... you shall be modified for many years.

Re: Happy Birthday, Playstation 2!

That would be so cool if the PS3 is customizable with front and rear and side panel customization like on cars, with customizable cover and such... LOL

Re: Happy Birthday, Playstation 2!

yeah...and you would be able to change/upgrade the CPU and video card and stuff

and put a spoiler on it and tint the windows and put on a new exhaust for it to sound cooler and, and...OMG! SO COOL!!!

very mature, happydude.

...you forgot the nitrous and chrome rims

MuGen 03-10-2005 05:20 PM

Re: Happy Birthday, Playstation 2!

i wasn't going for that kinda stuff Happydude.... more towards the customization that you would do to a cellphone...

cars aren't the only think you can hook up.

Imagine a custom Chrome plated Dragon design you can replace your stock PS3 cover with. Remember those CD Lid stickers that came with PSM that you can put on your PSX?

So everyone would have some sort of uniqueness to their ps3.

AN EVENTFUL EVENING

I recently spoke to the Corporate Headquarters over at SCEA via the number they have on Playstation.com

I told them about my idea with the PS3 and having 1st party and 3rd party companies design unique plate covers for the hardware design so they could sell those aside from the console.

QUOTE:
"Wow, that sounds like an awesome idea, Pepito(my real name). I will definitely pass this up to the R&D and see what they can do about this. With your permission of course?"
QUOTE:
me, "Of course, of course!"
QUOTE:
"Well it was wonderful speaking with you today, Pepito. I'll make sure that idea gets acknowledged. I actually do like that idea... and you don't know how many ideas, suggestions I get from consumers daily."
QUOTE:
"Thank you... just make sure it happens!"
QUOTE:
"Ha, I will do my best... Have a good day!"

HAHAHAHAHAHA.... THE CONSUMERS CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

PS3 WILL BE CUSTOMIZABLE IF MY IDEA GOES THROUGH!!

I think both of you (HappyDude and Perfect Stu) are forgetting the most important thing.........*points to signature*

With that being mentioned........well actually there's not much really more to add.........so I will leave you all on that note.
