Monogamy is defined as being married to one person, or having one mate. Nowhere is monogamy defined as being caused by love. It could be implied that you stay with one person because you love them, but it cannot be assumed. Poligamy and Monogamy are both out of the realm of love.

There are so many gray areas in this subject, because there are so many different moral ideas and opinions on what is right and wrong, and what should be allowed and shouldn't be allowed.

People want the sex from wherever they can get it.

People are told to pick one at a time.

The world is so overpopulated... But that's why God created condoms and gives them away for free in select bathrooms and in various retail outlets...

When a condom breaks, it's god's way of saying "This was meant to be"

Monogamy regarding what? Intercourse?

If that's the case, I believe in monogamy within a relationship. For example, I would not allow myself to have sex with another lady if I had a girlfriend at the time. The temptation will be there, of course...that's nature...but morals, values and other loads of human emotion would prevent me from doing such a thing.

If I was asked if I would only anticipate having one partner over the span of my entire life, I would laugh at them. At this point, I SUPPOSE it's a possibility...but that would recuire me meeting a lifetime mate in the *somewhat* near future. Not bloody likely ;)

Monogamy meaning, when you love someone you'll stop looking for more people (until you break, that is).

And yes, I agree that human emotions are a big factor.
