Wow, she's pretty talented. I never saw how she was influenced by Elton John (as she so admits to on both Wikipedia and Myspace) but I totally see it now.

She's actually super talented. When she was 17 or something she was writing songs for record labels so they could use them with other bands.

But after seeing that acoustic piano rendition, I actually really like her a lot. She should stick to that, over that whole "getting famous" thing.

That's funny, I had the same reaction as you guys after seeing her do the acoustic version on SNL a few weeks ago. I was surprised by her talent as well!

It kinda reminds me of what people say about Prince. Apparently, despite everyone knowing him for his pop credentials, he's also an excellent guitarist.
