Including a 9.6 from IGN
I remember reading something along the lines of "as good as _______ and ______ are, the only game that can give GTA: SA a run for its award-winning money would be Ratchet and Clank:UYA. The game is nothing short of amazing"
Apparently the online mode is fantastic and its full single player game is the best of the series. I think I might ask Santa for this one :D

Wow, I did not know that this game was coming out so soon. I loved the first two and I suppose that the love will be no different for this one.

I'm going to be picking this up as soon as possible (actually my brother is the one paying for it...but meh...I love it too.) Anyone know if you can play online with dial up? Or is it that stupid "broadband only" thing?

I've never played a R&C game before. Or a Jak game. I really wanted the latest of both of them, but what too lazy to do anything about it.
Maybe i'll get them this time around.
*Notices new "Snake" trophy* :D

I remember the first person I discussed the original Ratchet and Clank game with was you. We were both pretty amazed and surprised at how good it was, and brought a completely new feel to the 3D platformer.

Yeah the series is great. I loved the first two, and this one is just amazing. Seriously, if you want absoutely everything good that you could possibly get from a action/adventure platformer, this is it. And the multiplayer is god-like.

Does anyone care to do a write-up on the pros and cons? I'll give you gold.

Ok...I'm not done the game yet, but I'll share my thoughts after 7 hours of single player and a few rounds of multiplayer.
Pros:
-Wonderful characters and humor
-superb graphics and design (some levels so far rank pretty high on the "HOLY SH*TE" scale)
-tons and tons and tons of weapons and gadgets. and do I mean tons, and all upgradable.
-platforming fun with great objectives and side quest thingies
-lots of variety in gameplay. you can control clank as well, turn into the big robo clank and smash stuff, fly in ratchets ship and shoot things, fun fun.
-multiplayer owns you and yo mama
Cons:
-single player is quite similar in style to the past two games. not really a con for me, but its something some people might nit pick. its by far the best package of the 3.
-um...i dunno, not really anything else.
Is multiplayer only online? THat is about the only question I have.

nope...there is 4 player split-screen as well, and apparently it runs without a hitch

i was excited to see that you can do a splitscreen with online multiplayer, so i can take it to my buds house and we can both play online. hopfully 2 heasets work also.

wow, you serious?
THAT I didnt know about...I have a cousin who lives nearby that is a Ratchet and Clank fanatic. He'll be happy to hear about that...
yup. i was curious about that before i bought it.
so after i bought it while at work, i was reading thro the manual, when you go online and goto an online game, theres an option to set number of local users. 1 or 2(max)

Wow, the 'Seige' mode online is a TOTAL ripoff of UT2004's onslaught mode. Capture nodes to get new spawn points, weaps and vehicles. try to take over enemy base by destroying thier main 'core' or 'gun' what have you. i think maybe they played some UT04 before making this game lol.
Which is not a bad thing at all cuz its a fun mode. :)

I'm getting the game tomorrow...and I absolutely cannot wait. I'm pleased to hear that it is better than the last two games...because they were already awesome. I'm also glad to hear I can play multiplayer without being online...considering I dont have broadband.
And I can't run UT 2004 on my computer, so I'm glad to hear it has a mode just like it. ;)
