I know that there arent too many baseball fans in this forum, but there are some. So, lets post here about what we think will happen in the upcoming season. I think the Cardinals will get to the World Series, probably facing the Yankees(although I hate to admit it). Thats just what I think. Cubs will suck again, and we will see Barry Bonds slowy wither away(or something)

My favorite team is of course the Cardinals, what about everybody else eh?

Jason, you've said for the past 2 years that the Cardinals were going to get to the World Series -- how about you lower your expectations? ;)

I think the Yankees have a good chance of making the Series again, but anything could happen. The NL? I think maybe the...

Cubs.

How about I dont. They will go to the World Series, as the time comes closer, id be willing to bet some serious dbloons on it.

The Cardinals won't make it to the World Series, the Yankees will win it all once again, the Blue Jays will suprise people and do better than average, Barry Bonds will start sucking, yes, and baseball will continue to bore the piss outta me. Even baseball's hilites of the week's are horrible... "Hey look, that guy threw the ball to the other guy faster than usual."

Meh, before anyone asks me, I like making predictions even if I hate what I'm predicting.

How about you bet some doubloons now?

Anyone can wait until half the season is over and make a reasonable bet -- how about you bet now?

Why now, Shooter? You scared that if I wait, I wont want to bet anymore? Trust me, the Cardinals will be good, and I will still want to bet...or I could bet now.

I love my Phillies, but I yet again expect a mediocre season as they finsih 10 more games behing the Mets and Braves. I don't know how they can expect to get better when they don't sign better people, and that's why one of our best (Rolen) is leaving...At least the other three philly sports teams are good. :cool:

I think people are partial to their home state's team.. or a local team.

I'm not -- I hate the Red Sox, they suck. The only smart move they've made was to fire the GM, Dan how-ever-you-spell-his-last-name.

Bah.. any dimwit can see that half way through the season, if the Cardinals are in last place, you won't bet.

Betting now is much more like real gambling.

Here's what I'll do:

a) Place bets now
b) Wait until 3 WEEKS into the season, then bet.

O I have faith a-plenty, I just dont see the point of making a bet that we wont know the outcome of in 9 months.
