My brother's JFL team once again got to take a trip to a Colts game and play a scrimmage game on the field after the main game. Did the same thing 2 years ago, had a good time, so I decided to go again. Had to get up at 5:30 on a fugging Sunday morning to catch the Charter buses we would be taking down there. Its about a 3 and a half hour drive from Peoria to Indianapolis. Got there, seats where just slightly better than last year, still crappy though, as you can see from this undoctored pic:

As for the game itself, I wouldve liked to see a better game, as in closer, but it was still pretty good since the Colts won(even though Im not a big Colts fan, I dont like Oakland)
Kids who would be playing following the game left during the 4th quarter to get ready, rest of us hung around after the game got over...its amazing how quickly 55,000+ people clear out of a stadium. Walked down to the field after it cleared out. They played 2 games at a time, using only half the field for each game. Here was my view from the sidelines...(thats not me in that pic, BTW)

And just for a little more proof, this time that IS me in that pic...

Anyways its quite a long day, but its worth it I think, especially considering I'll probably never set foot on an NFL field again. And its gotta be a big thrill for the kids, even though the place is almost empty when they play. Such is life though.
