i didnt post this here to put a bad name on my own country...
i know its common for malays to marry a few wifes at once...and get divorced and stuff...but this is just absurd....the guy is nutz...and i cant believe how he actually got the girls to marry him....

In my culture, it is custom for a man and woman to stay together for as long as possible. However, Dr. Phil says that soon the percentage of married couples that divorce will be 50%. :(

Can you do anything to make me feel better about this?

Well Dr. Phils point is probably that people shouldn't marry that fast, right? Or that they should work on their relation rather than divorcing....
So that should make you happy, no?

Of course he is, he's a TV self-help guru. He's good at dispensing common sense. And sorry, GF, but divorce rates are almost above 50%.

Oh yeah, I happened to learn today what those figures mean.

50% means that half of the marriages of that year will eventually divorce. That could be after 2 months, or after 50 years.

You can also look at it differently. Out of every marriage in Holland, 1% will divorce this year..... that doesn't look much, but this is every year. :(
