Crazy Dreams

Yes, I know that there have been previous threads about dreams but I thought this one deserved to be separate. Because its about video game dreams.

I've been informed that you all would be interested in the dream I had the other night. Are you ready for this?

In the dream, I was Link. Not really from any specific game, just in general. The dream started off with the music and the story like most Legend of Zelda games start. Like I said, I was Link and I was in a big, cavernous room. I had to get across a bridge (all Zelda fans will know the type of bridge it was... logs linked with rope). I was holding two glass balls. In order to get across the bridge I had to use the balls in a certain order. I messed up a couple of times and fell off the bridge into a pit of lava. I was automatically transported back to the beginning of the bridge, with orbs in hand.

So, I finally made it across the bridge and my next task was to get the glass balls open and get what was inside. One had a heart shaped key in it, and to get it open I had to roll it across the floor in a certain direction. That wasn't too hard. The other ball had a ring in it. I had to skip it across the lava (this was a little more difficult). After many tries, I succeeded.

Now, I had to figure out what to do with these items. I put the ring on and pointed it towards a couple of people (they just sort of appeared) across the pit and said "show me love." Yes, this is the corny part. That didn't do anything, so I turned to a guy who was near me (again, i have no idea where he came from). I said something in another language and nothing happened.

So the guy says, "come on, we need to get out of here." But I had one last task before I could leave. I had to unlock the door at the top of the stairs with the key.

I had a dream once that I was an ape in Ape Escape. the "head ape" (although I dont think there is a 'head ape' in Ape Escape, that's what I was) and I had to help my fellow apes, well, escape. I had gorilla-like strength and could climb pretty much anything

I usually can't remember my dreams, but lately I have been having a little better dream recall, and the other night I had one of the most bizarre and scary dreams I had ever had, and it may not sound like a video game dream at first, but right around the end you'll see. This is an entry from my dream log.

September 27, 2004
Last night was the 27th, and I had one of the most vivid and scary dreams I've had in a while. It inspired me to start this journal. If I can improve dream recall, I can learn to become lucid.

In my dream I was a two headed sea serpent in my highschool, but at the same time I was quite large. My brother was the other head, I think. For some reason we went on a private vacation to a "terrifying, adventurous resort." It was like a large jungle area...lucious green trees, but also many waterways. There were small lakes and swamps scattered about. The area felt dark and scary. I was given a room number in a large wooden hotel built on stilts in the middle of a shallow pond about 8 feet deep. Some how I fell into the moat, and a HUGE terrifying croc started chasing me around the hotel. I was once again in a serpentine body (I seemed to be human sometimes, and after I woke up I realize that aside from the in my highschool I was always a serpent in water and human on land.) I was swimming backwards away from the croc, then I was back at my hotel room, #44. There were several layers of wooden doors I had to unlock to get to my room, each with a gold 44 on it. I assumed for my protection.

Suddenly, I was terrified and panicking. I dont know why I suddenly became this way, I just was. So I was fumbling with the keys, and I managed to get one door opened, before I looked to my right, and a Mortal Kombat fighter was standing there. Baraka I believe, but he was holding a crossbow. He shot me, and I fell backwards onto the floor, then he shot about 15 arrows extremely fast into my stomach, then he grabbed me and flung me upwards. I was suddenly flying through the air, and I landed way out in the jungle, in a small yellow pond I had seen from my room. The bad part? I had also seen a sperpent/fish like creature (huge of course) swimming in it. As soon as I hit the water, I was a serpent, then I realized Baraka was right above me. The dream ended with Baraka and I fighting, trying to throw each other into creature living in the water.

I am convinced this would make an awesome game, where you play a character on an island built to scare you. The island would be HUGE, with tons of secrets that would take a very long time for everyone to figure out. You could play the game for months and months, then one day find a secret passage you had never seen before, and the island would be infested with creatures and other wierd things. The main plot being to explore and survive.

I'm also looking to see if anything happens in real life in relation to the dream...like if the number 44 holds any significance in the future.

Wow.....crazy dreams...I dont have any exciting dreams as of late...well, exciting to you folks. But all i know is in every dream I can remember, im always me, and its always like im looking through my eyes ( like normal) or 3rd person, where I can see myself.

none of your dreams will ever...EVER...compare to mine...mine are so twisted in weirdness that they're unexplaiunable, like this one dream i had last week, which i remember as though i was acually there...


...i was in sydney, austrlia (even though the cars were driving on the right side of the road) when all of a sudden a car accident happened and killed some guy on the sidewalk, a few moments after the crash has been cleaned up, the man on the ground (was still there) was eaten by a pig (yes a pig! :wtf: ) and somehow turned into a zombie (can't explain...so don't ask). He started to chase me down the street (me of all people for some reason) while i was throwing everything that i had in my way at him. eventually i climbed on someone's balcony, but there was a doberman there gaurding it, fortunatly he didn't see me, so i got off the balcony quickly. being on the balcony has gotten me enough time to get away from the zombie and run into a building...turns out the building was abondoned and inside were alot of bats and the building was lit by torches. i ran to the end of the hall way and looked back only to find that the zombie had found me but this time he talked to me and said "i only want to talk" so we talked (don't remember what about) and became friends (:wtf: ). after we finished talking we saw that the TMNT (yes, those green guys...all 4 of them) were coming to kill us both, and while showing off their weapons while running towards us, they killed each other (lianardo sliced the other turtle's head open, then his own) by accident. a few moments after they all fell to the ground, the pig (the same pig) came out of nowhere and ate them one by one and they got up as zombies...friendly zombies. after we all had a talk, we tried to escape from the building, but the way we came in was blocked. so we tried escaping through a window in one of the apartments. as we opened the door (coincidentally the only door on that floor) there was a fence and behind it was a female vampire (looks like the ones in Van Helsing the movie). me and the zombies checked to see if she was awake and put a rat (or some other animal, can't remember) inside the fence through a dog door at the bottom of it and she ate the animal in a second. in started talking to my zombie freidns about finding another way out, when all of a sudden the vampire spoke (can't remember exact wording) she told us that she had faught with her husband, dracula (which looks like dracula from Ragnarok online), and that if we get dracula and her back together, she will let us through. as i was going to open the door back into the hallway, it opened on its own, and there stood dracula (which had a face of Snoop-dog, and he was smoking a pipe or something :D). after talking to dracula for some time, i had convinced him to get back together with his wife. the wife was greatful and let us all through....

...and that was one of my dreams.

i have another dream...but i'm too lazy to type it up :p

I dreamed yesterday that I met my girl in her school (she works there) but she wasn't ready yet so I had to wait. I went to the bathroom, took my time because I was bored and nervous. When I got back, 2 teachers began argueing with me, I had to pay for using the bathroom... :rolleyes: Later my girl got back, we argued a bit more and left.

This night, I dreamed I was in MY old school again and I saw the girl that I've been (a bit) in love with for about 5 years. I didn't have the chance to talk to her, but her friends said I really should go to her. ... euh.... then...... we talked a bit, I asked her if she wanted to do something, she told me she had a boyfriend, I told her I have a girlfriend so that wasn't what I meant.
Dream about the girl stopped there.

Later I was cycling home when I met a man that I knew, he just picked up his son from the station. He told/asked his son to go with me, inspite the fact that I was going home...
So we went to the supermarket and all that he bought was liquor. :D I also met all my old collegues from the supermarket, they were happy to see me. :angel:
And..... that's all I know. Kinda boring.
