System will launch with a playable Demo of Metroid Prime: Hunters
In addition to the built-in instant-messaging PictoChat feature, Nintendo DS units in North America will come with a free Nintendo DS Game Card featuring a playable demo of the upcoming Metroid Prime Hunters game*. The demo, called Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt, will feature several single-player modes of the first-person adventure game along with a unique multiplayer mode in which four DS users can compete wirelessly. Nintendo DS launches Nov. 21 in North America at an MSRP of $149.99.
so it does have a single player mode like metroid prime.... that is too cool, i am so excited about this, you have no idea!

I've seen the first box without the MP on the cover. But I hadn't seen this one.
The days are getting closer...*anticipation....rising....*
*edit*
Yes GM, there will be other games. It's a bad move to only have a demo out with the DS and thats it. :p

No no they're going to try it without games this time. :)
How come they haven't announced any Gamecube connectivity? I cry.

If I have to pay $149.99 USD to get more out of my GameCube games, I'm bringing a bomb to Redmond, WA. Cool added features is fine, but I won't tolerate another FF:CC fiasco.

I agree. Connectivity was never really that awesome. It added a little extra value, VERY little, but I would much rather just use a classic controller. I dont think that connectivity really brought anything new or interesting to the table.

the tingle thing was cool, but it still wasn't what it could have been... i really dont think it is cost effective for the developers/publishers or the consumer...
but i do think that the DS will do very well, and i'm totally excited for it.

its beautiful....*wipes tear*
Anywho, lets not completly knock the GBA connectivity feature. It was cool in a select few games...especially Four Swords Adventures. Its just a shame that they made it where each person playing HAD to have a GBA.

What made me a sad panda was the fact that Zelda: Four Swords sucks a nut... :sneaky:
Anyways, this paints a different picture... In the last topic we thought it came with the GAME Metroid Prime: Hunters free.... Not a game DEMO...
Still, so far if I had to pick between PSP and DS, I'd go for DS... But that could all change, or be confirmed depending on PSP's official pricetag...

No no, we discovered that it was just a demo. But they wouldn't listen! :(
