Question about posting fiction

What exactly are the rules around here? It's been a while, so I don't know the staff positions regarding posting of fiction. If I have something that's so big that I'd rather just link to it, is that allowed? Or should I just say "Look at my sig"? Can I just start a thread about my stuff?

I'm not the only one interested in this question, by the way. There are a couple others I know who might want to post some fiction here.

You should be fine with posting links to fiction/fan fiction. Blatant advertising isn't usually allowed (outwar, etc...) but links to fan fics should be fine.
