Cant say that I liked the first design for the PS2 but this one really stands out.

Indeed it can FuFu... Indeed it can...

And since I should probably say something about the thread... I think it's a cool design, though it does look a bit fragile. I'll be getting one sometime, so it's not like I'm totally turned off by the fact that you can probably punch a hole through it without much trouble.

At any rate... Neat.

Being a HDD user for my ol Ps2, I don't think I'll be getting Pstwo even though it looks cool :p

I'm not downloading all those FFXI files again :( (But thinking about that.... FFXI comes with an internal Hard Drive, I wonder how PStwo will change this.)

a flip lid. very very interesting. Thats going to make it a lot easier to use a boot disc, and swap method to get it to do other things.

one has to ask themselves tho... WHY WASTE THE DESIGN ON THIS!?!? its a sweet lookin disign they coulda put to use in the PS3. obvioiusly it wouldnt be as small because parts for newer things arent as small yet. but it sucks to already have one and then the much better lookin one come out.

I just dont see how you can saw they're WASTING this design on the PS2?

They'll put more money into the design of PS3 anyways...it'll probably look MORE sleek, and sexier than ever.

nah, i doubt it. PS1 looked good, PSone looks sweet. PS2 didnt look as slick as psone, and IMO PStwo blows em all out.

Its because when the console comes out and its new, they cant make the new technology as small. years later they're able to compack the parts inside it and make things smaller. so IMO, PS3 surly isnt going to be as small and wont look quite as good.

right, it wont be as small. so this design maybe wouldnt work with a much larger object.

it's smart business...they know what they're doing. there are a lot of creative and innovative minds in design at Sony...I'm sure the PS3 will have a great design
