When you post things like this, your ASKING for an argument, then someone will get mad at someone else for starting the argument, then before you know it people are arguing over why the argument started.

While you're at it why not just make a direct link to this site:
http://www.evilgopbastards.com
Though the site is funny, it's a load of crap.
"Exposing the ugly truth
about the Republican Party's diabolical plot to replace constitutional democracy with an oligarchic
fascist theocracy...
It's the only rational explanation!"
Yeah... ok...

Why are liberals so angry and full of hate? Oh well... its better not to think about it, I guess...

Where the hell did that come from?
See, this is how arguments start. Someone slanders the other side for no reason, then someone questions it, then someone question someone elses credability and validity of their arguments, and so on and so forth.

I agree with The Strangler. Liberals are angry people. And my basis for that is very simple.
I bet very few of you could say you support Kerry for what he stands for. Almost every liberal I talk to is voting for Kerry merely because they have a hatred for "evil conservatives" and especially Bush.
You know, its funny, but back in the day, people voted for the candidate and not simply against the other. But that is what this election is shaping up to, just voting for the one who isn't the other guy.
Good to hear Florida won't get away with their voter purging scheme this year.

Oh, this post isn't hateful. judgemental, prejudicial and angry at all... not at all.
See, this is only one of the reasons why I don't argue politics here anymore. Its pointless to preach to fanatics.

yeah, thats what i was going to say, feel free to bring these topics up, but please don't do it while insulting someone elses party at the same time. If i was right wing, I'd be pretty offended by that statement, since i don't believe all republicans are assholes, both Bond and Strangler and rightwing and niether of them have done anything to anybody on the thread to be called assholes. This is how flaming begins.

Haven't you realized that is his intention?

I was just about the say the same thing. This is a debate board, if I'm not mistaken. There are going to be arguments. They're welcomed here.

And I'm sure that you are supposed to debate a person's argument instead of his character.

Why are liberals so angry and full of hate?
Four Years of a president that you couldn't stand, plus a Supreme Court that is divided against you, as well as both houses of congress, as well as the majority of the governorships, the fact that the vast majority of the people in this country bend to the will of the few, plus the fact that you can't be proud of the country you live in, plus the fact that you can't go abroad without others judging you as being a, stupid, wasteful person because of the country you live in will do that too you.
You're goddamn right I'm angry.
Not hate filled though.
Dispute the article if you feel up to it.

I understand the point of the article, and I do agree with it that there are still problems with discrimination in America. That one is a given, although you have to admit things are drastically improved and still slowly improving.
What I don't like and what I disagree with isw how you and the article suggest that all discrimanatory activity in America is spawned by conservatives. It seems like everyone has this stereotype that the "loving, caring liberals" are here to protect the underprivaleged african-american from the "hating, pilaging, evil conservatives." It is not like Bush is telling these people to fight back against the black man so he can win the elections.
I am a conservative and I have no prejudice towards black people. And, I know liberals that don't like black people for one reason or another.
I guess I'm mainly arguing against your stereotype at the beginning then the article, even though that is pointing to Republicans as the bad guys more than Democrats. I think that is wrong to say that just because some fanatics somewhere are harrassing african-americans. They give a bad name to us all as people.

I'm not going to get sucked into long winded, pointless arguments with people who would rather llisten to the sound of their own voice rather than look around them and see the real world. Have a nice day.
