No, im not making a thread like this for obvious reasons, but it was spawned in my brain from reading the "religion" thread. Ok..plus because one of my friends died.

But what do you think happens to us when you die? Where do we go? Does anything at all happen?

Honestly, i have no idea. I asked someone once ( I forget who) and she said "Well, can you remember what it was like before you were born?" Meaning the brain dies. Leaving out the "soul" part.

But in a cheesy way, i think people come back as other people. Not animals. I think whichever creature dies, the soul comes back as the same animal. And the soul contains the same brain patterns. Which is why (I think) that there will always be people like Hitler and Saddam Huissein. Because, yes, they will die, but their soul will go on to take another bidy with the same frame of mind.

Enough of my rantings, what do you think?

I think when people die they're dead and gone period.... There will always be people like Hitler and Saddam in the world because every once in awhile some crazy guy will come along that had nothing to do with the last crazy guy other than maybe idolizing them or trying to follow in their footsteps or what have you...

Rather simple...

Although I like to believe in the possibility of some sort of afterlife or ghosts or whatnot... Just because it's interesting, but unlikely...

You die, you go to Heaven.

That's all my beliefs are.

you die, you are judged, you go where you are told...

like the saying says, if you live like there is no god, you'd better be right!

i think its like falling asleep and you go to a dream world, but then again you have no blood flowing to your brain for it work, so...i have no idea, guess you just black out and thats it...i, like DsH, hope there is an afterlife thingy with ghosts and stuff...that could be fun :p

I'll hopefully be chilling with God for eternity. I don't think some people here understand how truly significant that is.

I think that I will decompose or be churned into little ashes depending on my burial, or whatever they'll do when I die in...say 2070 (hopefully).

I think that there might be a sort of resurrection.

I see it like this, you die, you see the "light" then darkness, then huge hands come out of nowhere, and you are born again, and that light is actually the in the the room...

But thats just me...

i sometimes try to hope that maybe reincarnation or heaven is real, and that finding enlightenment is truly an interlife quest, but sadly i always find myself simply hoping for these, not believing them.

i think more people are being born than people dying...or is it the other way around...anyway, where do the extra souls or whatever come from then? :p

think about it.

oh and if it's the other way around i think the souls that are chosen to be reborn are chosen because they deserve another life or something or other.

I don't care where we go, just as long as my missus is there then I'm happy :D
