the greatest arcade racer ever made.

I am having an absolute BLAST with this game, giving me much needed R&R (although it's not exactly relaxing...this game is so fast it feels more like an action game) in between long classes in College.

Fan of racing games (arcade racers in particular)? BUY THIS GAME. Simply fantastic. And those that have the game/will rent the game for PS2 and have a network adapter, message back and we'll play online.

Bah, this game would have done great on the Cube.

Unless it comes to the PC sometime, I wont be buying it because EA didn't bring it to the 'Cube. Worst decision I've seen in awhile on a game not coming to it

But it sounds good. Sad I won't be playing it

maybe, but I'm talking about Burnout 3, not Gamecube.

and about the online mode, I've only placed once, and I LOVED it. so intense.

4 players controlled a group of cars thats goal was to reach the finish line without being destroyed. the other 4 players controlled a group of cars in pursuit...goal is to DESTROY the other 4 cars.

really really great. I haven't played the online mode extensively (just got the game two days ago) but I loved every second of that particular mode.

It's not just a PS2 game, Stu.

I think he posted it here because this is the sytem he bought the game for, so therefor this is the system thegame is on descussion about.

Like NHL 2K. ( as he said) Because we were descussing the online capabilities of the PS2 version, and no other and whatnot. This way, if its in the dungeon, its slightly more confusing, on account that Xbox and PS2 both have online.

I dont really see the need to move it to the dungeon. :sneaky:

Dylflon told me it might be coming to Gamecube later. Sounds like fun though, glad you're enjoying it in your off-time at college. BTW Stu, are you living at home or in a dorm?

The difference in the Xbox version.. well, the controls, the custom soundtrack, and the slight graphical enhancement (minus the spark brightness)?

Honestly, if it's multi-platform, it's going in the dungeon. No stupid arguments can save this move. Blame the moderators because those other threads weren't moved. :p

There has been alot of hate floatin around here lately.

So lets all put down the Haterade.

Bit back on topic, im debating whether to buy this. Because buying this soon may cause in a slower buying of NHL 2005, or GTA: San Andreas, and i want all 3 of these games, but i only have enough for 2 of them.

Hmm..

*Thinks of idea*

Well, Dylan, my parents give me $30-$40 every time I go to your house, so for 3 weeks or so, im going to your house on Friday..That was we can all enjoy these three fine games.

You were not making a stupid argument, simple as that.

I've always wanted a Burnout game, but I don't have any cash on me now so I'll have to wait till my Job is up and running. Heh, I have paid for my games for the past 2 years I think.
