... admitting failure.

Go ahead, pick it apart.

It is so plainly obvious that this was never a mission of peace and liberation, rather a mission of greed and an attempt to show the world our dominance. Nothing we've done has worked because nothing we were going to do was planned out before hand. I truly hope that those involved will one day be forgiven for what they have done; this is the first paragraph of the last page of this awful, awful chapter in American history.

Still wasting our money now protecting a country rather then helping OUR OWN. But this news doesn't surprise me. The gov't greatly underestimated how well terrorists can still operate even after the United States, the biggest "superpower" in the world right now, enters a country.

Don't be alarmed folks. This shift in funding is for the benefit of the Iraqii people.

I mean, that's what it's all about right?

Does the U.S. have the most debt in the world? If so, how can we also be the most rich?

You have to think of wealth as a cap for how much debt we have. So, since we are a really wealthy nation (and we are), we can still be ok with a huge debt. Now, that's not to say that having a huge debt it good, but it is allowable because the value of industries and people are still there backing it up.
