Plants.

I am pretty ignorant when it comes to plant care. But I have a philodendron (i think that's what it is). My question is: what is the proper technique for repotting it? Anyone know?

I've replanted a green thing or two in my life...

I had a plant once. Once.

I recommend you shoot the plant now and just get a cactus :D

I have a bit of experience with plant growing. Well, illegal plant growing
;)

I can't help you with this though. I've never even heard of the flower.

Well, me and my friend grew some plants in his room a while back...I'll tell you what worked for us.

First, you need a well secluded area, a closet works fine.
Then, you need planters.
Then bright lights.
And lots of love.

Psst. She was asking about tips for repotting a plant. Not for growing.

Don't you mean a rodedendron?

The trick is... the circumstances have to be the same in the old and the new spot. Cause plants adjust to their circumstances.

So if you can, bring a lot of earth of the old spot, in the new spot. :)

Perhaps you shouldn't try to place it from a shady to a sunny spot or vice versa.

Oh yeah: give enough water! Not too much... but enough... :p

Good luck.

Repotting is easy.

1) Make sure the soil around the roots it unditurbed while repotting.

2) Transfer plant

3) Fill in gaps bewteen roots/soil and new pot with a mix of potting soil and nitrogen based fertilizer

4) Water the CRAP out of it. (Whenever you transfer any plant, always water it to the point of rediculousness)
